Even though both choices are awesome, I think the somehow seems more like a "Gooey" than the fester. I don't even know why XD Either one would be cool though, they've both got amazing art. Yeah I'm not too fond of festers either, but a lain wouldn't do this pet justice.

That's my rl Gooey aka George. He's a blue fronted amazon. He's had me in his life for 20 years, he's roughly 30 years old now. He's a big part of my life, so I wanted to have his pet's TC full of colour so I was thinking I would hoard all things from the Ikumoradeekanox because I love that dang tree ok. haha But I'm just not sure for now... hmmm...

OH WOW!! hes beautiful!!! and old! :D hmmm what about the noktaos with a cool overlay? I did a parrot overlay for my friend nannies pet, and she used a lain...so it is possible depending on the position. :D

I'm not sure if I even like the noktoa...I guess if I had to choose one it would be the glade...the horns urk me tho. But it's a suggestion I will consider, regardless because it kinda goes with my theme of hyrdrus and glade pets I already own...

I know its hard because the lains are the closest to parrots..other then the festers..:( oh! what about the irons? I mean I know they are griffin like but there faces resemble parrots?

its no problem...I know the troubles of finding a pet to fit, when I was on neopets had the hardest time trying to find a pet for a hedgehog, just a pain in the ass! :D

What pet did you end up picking for that? omg. I wonder. LOL I made a pet on neopets once based on my boyfriend, I called it Davind and he was a mutant mynci (the monkey one) hahaha

Oh yeah I can see that not feeling the same. Do you have hedgehogs in rl ? Are they your babies?

I have loved them for a long time, and have been around other peoples (and they love me) but currently I dont have any because I took in so many animals with different issues (all are special in some way) that I dont have the space, or honestly the proper time to give one...but once everyone dies (minus our cats and my fishies because I enjoy them greatly) I have to say Im done being a rodent rescuer...I cant take the smell anymore..and I have so many cages that Im constantly cleaning :( Ive wanted a hedgie for a very long time though, part of the problem was they didnt have any proper breeders in our area, as is we will still have to travel at least a half hour to a proper breeder...so...ya trying to be smart about it. :D

What other kinds of rodents do you own? I used to own two male rats, one being hairless! But they have gone long ago. Little animals don't seem to live for very long, but they are so precious while they're here. My boyfriend and I were thinking about adopting ferrets once, but I already own a dog, cat and parrot. And I know I'd be the one cleaning all the time! I feel ya on that one, for sure.

It's probably a better idea to go to a breeder than a pet store. My friend bought a hedgehog from a pet store once and the little girl hated everything. Not friendly at all. :(

well the ones from pet stores (hedgies) are almost like going to a puppy mill, they are over bred and little respect to the animals genetics are shown sadly, as well as they are more likely to develop wobbly hedgehog syndrome, and cancer...which is heart breaking...

I have owned ferrets, at one time...12 of them..thats how I got to be so fast..lol you have to be to catch them, and yes i was cleaning all the time. My hubby and I have ran a rescue for a long long time.

currently we have:

2 cats 1 tortoise 3 gerbils 1 guinea pig (complete asshole but Im patient with him) 10 rats (5 male, 5 female, separated of course) 5 fish in my aquarium 5 mice (3 girls, 2 boys, separated of course...

and we live in an apartment..Im good at cleaning..most of them have issues with either mental illnesses, abandonment, medical issues etc. I am very very patient..lol

and for some reason even wild hedgies from the zoo respond well to me, I had a friend with a difficult on too, and it popped its hedge out, snuggled into me and started licking my hand...the owners like..wtf!! she never does that!!!

I have a natural affinity to them XD LOL

There are seventeen species of hedgehog in five genera, found through parts of Europe, Asia, Africa and New Zealand (by introduction). There are no hedgehogs native to Australia, and no living species native to the Americas.

This is taken off the wiki, they are related to shrews and there are fossilized ones that have been found in the americas..they are considered a living fossil, having been around for a looooong time.

fun fact, one of the oldest remains religiously of a hedgie, was a plushie found buried at stone henge by the celts...
