I'm just wondering about how you can accumulate them. I've already fought all the Medium opponents 10 times with my battle pet, but I need more medium tokens. Can I still get them by battling said opponents again, or do I have to use a different pet?

You can continue to battle those same opponents, but keep in mind that the token drops are random and the opponents will get more difficult every time you beat them :)

the Battle Token drop for fighting a challenger from the Challenge Opponent page is around one in four, one in three-ish.

Me, I train all of my pets. Mostly I do this because I can, but the extra BT and fifth-win drops are a certain bonus.

There is a Battle Token drop from Battle Quests. It's around one in ten, and of course as they are constructed now you have no choice in who you fight. You may have to refuse a number of BQs before you get someone who'll drop you a Medium.

Mainly just crystals, like Light Offense, Physical Defense, etc.

Those are cheap. How many do you need of what type?

Umm...it's typical in the Battle Community to loan weapons out and to otherwise help those who are just starting out. For some damn reason it pleases us to see others get thejoy that we got when our own pets were getting stronger. You really don't owe us anything except to share your successes, for many of us this is fun.

I also know when I was new to Subeta I happened to belong to a cult that had a Neopets presence and without their help here I wouldn't have done nearly so well. I was really happy to help.

I know. Subeta's users are wonderful for that reason, but I just felt like giving something in return. :) Especially when you could have sold those things for a ridiculous amount of SP. I'll definitely go check out the battle community, since I'm currently training all my pets up. Okay, all but one, he's not a fighter in personality.
