I just realized that poor Melody sits up there in the Arctic Frost all year by herself and no one ever visits her unless it's Luminaire. I think it would be great if she could have one quest a day, like Shinwa. To help her prepare to hand out all of those gifts, or something.
I think we have enough quests.

Yeah, there are so many quests as it is. I'm not really sure why Melody would need one too. Idk I guess it depends on how they'd plan to work it in to everything else.
Well when I thought of this, it was because I realized that she's just there. All year. By herself. Making presents to give to everyone out of the goodness of her heart. It makes me a little sad. And I said one a day since I agree, there are a lot of quests. I don't know. I'd just love to see something done with her that makes her relevant for more than one month a year.
I actually like the idea of an once-a-day quest for Melody! We could fetch her toys or food, or other materials to make gifts (Thimble&Co stuff?)...
Or you could even make it a rarer thing, like once-a-week, and make her prize a buff of some sort, since staff is working on those now.
I quite like the idea of either a once-a-day quest or once-a-week, so that we're helping Melody to prepare for her cottage opening in December.... she must get quite lonely there for the rest of the year (she doesn't even take a vacation to Delphi for a week in the summer :P)

I like the idea of doing a Melody quest, once per day or once per week... but what would she ask for?
Aka: WHY would she ask us for help? What sort of help does she need?
I think this idea has potential, but does need to be fleshed out a bit more.

Or it could be like an oracle quest or something, as well. Where it's a special event that spurs the quest? Maybe something like...
"I'm trying to prepare for the holiday ahead of time, but I just can't get a hold of [enter item here for good little Jimmy.]! As much as Vanya tries to help out, I feel bad about asking him to whiddle away at toys instead of relaxing. We should respect our elders!. Do you think you could help? Pretty please?"
That's perfect! It sounds just like her! Or if it's not for jimmy, maybe one of her snow fairies dropped/lost something?
If Mel's Qs were done like Shinny's Qs -- 1 per day or per week, maybe use all the NPCs that Shin doesn't call upon -- like Mori/Nori, Quent, Carl, etc… ?
I like the idea. I dk what she'd give out for loot… Magical Arctic Star Potion or Frozen Froth? Maybe just bonus quest points?
Oh yeah the snow fairies dropping something sounds good too! :D
I love 's idea... that is charming and very nice to give Melody some more attention and help her out!
I'm glad likes this! I think more variety in quests are great, and 's idea is really great :)
Wow, I'm really glad other people like the idea! I really just don't want her to be left alone all year. It makes me sad. Even if it's just an RE. And the text was fantastic that suggested.
I do think 's idea is pretty cute. There was one luminaire where we were all helping out healing crazed and broken snow fairies. Maybe Melody likes to keep them fed and warm and healthy because all year they help her back. This would allow her to ask for Grooming and Home supplies, which are otherwise not really called for on-site.
Inknote, I really really like your idea. :) Completely adorable!!
I just wonder what she would give for a prize? Would she be much like the Oracle who gives WT, Stats and sP?
Some sP, increase the happiness of your active pet as if they had played with a toy or two (That seems like something she would do, tbh), and/or a random item?

I like the idea of her being an RE like the Oracle. I never have time to do all the quests as it is! ^^; Though maybe with a slightly increased frequency...? SP and maybe some themed winter or holiday prize, maybe a retired Luminaire gift so new users who missed those years could get them...?
Increasing pet happiness is something she'd do, but so many people have minions attached or put their pets in the resort, I don't think it'd be practical to have, imo.
