Papthys was the first pet I ever considered adopting. I really loved the look of the arid lain, and I even tried getting her out of the pound when I first signed up. Of course newbie restrictions being what they are, I couldn't do it. I then started to realize there was a great variety of available names out there, and ended up with Mistletoe to fulfill my arid lain desire instead.

Since I had extra pet slots, I started zapping and releasing pets into the pound. Remembering Papthys, I decided to do this for her as well. Shortly afterward, however, the pound was cleared of pets. It looks like I got her out just in time. Considering that, I'm thinking of keeping her.

I need ideas for a pet, both in character/story and color/species. I don't want to keep her as an arid lain since I already have Mistletoe, but nothing in particular comes to mind.

[edit] I've decided to make Papthys a Glade Jollin. I suppose if you have any ideas, you could still suggest them, but I'm starting to form an idea of the character already.

Wow. That is a very lucky pet. The name, Papthys, kind of has a regal Egyptian sound to me. I think the glacier Demi or the reborn tigrean have a good feel for that. Or you can keep the luck theme and make her glade. Like a four leaf clover :D

The Egyptian thing is interesting, but I already have a Glacier Demi (Brunhild) and I'm planning to make a Reborn Tigrean on the 16th, who will share the name and birth date of my first Neopet. Oddly enough, I already have two pet ideas with an Egyptian theme, one being Lutelk, and the other being said soon-to-be Reborn Tigrean.
