Okay - I know that if you submit a CW as unlimited you can place it in the CS at any time in a variety of ways.

Since the new option has been put in place allowing you to select a set number of copies to go into the CS - I think it would be feasible to allow us to submit our remaining batches of CWs into the CS with the item limits in place.

I honestly thought initially that is what the function of the limited copies submission was for.

I am not talking Direct-to-CS here - and maybe I'm having a crappy time explaining so I'll give an example.

It was initially submitted with a batch limit of 5 or 6 (I honestly cannot remember most of my batch limits haha). It has 4 batches remaining allowed to be submitted.

Rather than me have to fight all of the other threads for notice - why not allow me to toss this item into the CS - I can put in a max of 40 copies (since I have 4 batches)? I have people who are interested, but its often hard to find them again after months - even with lists, since people change names or don't have money at the time I'm trying to submit one more batch.

I have these stockings capped at 2 batches, there are some people dying for them but I couldn't ever fully fill the 2nd batch. Wish these people could have what they want without me having to fork over the csc :/

Since I heard the "limited copies" feature on the CS is glitched (it continues selling items even after the stock has "run out"), that probably needs to get addressed before capped items are put in.

I agree. Its why I almost always end up with a spare copy or two in my trades.

Haha, you ninja'd my edit, but I think there might be an unaddressed glitch in the CS that could be incompatible with moving capped items there. But I truly hope that thing has been fixed since I heard of it...

Ah - well hopefully they can/have fixed that and we can maybe get this as a new option - because I'd love to clear out these things. It will mean less gunk on the first page of my CW shop too - which means quicker loads and less work on the servers hint hint

i think it sounds like an awesome idea, i'm taking it to mean..like if you had 5 people waiting on a slot for the scythe say a month or better, then those 5 could go get it right away from the cs instead of waiting for you to get together the other 5 people to submit it...

I really wish this was a thing! I have a few CW's of my own that I would love to add to the Cash shop just to get the last batches (usually only 2 batches) finished.

Yeah - basically what people have been doing with CWs that had an unlimited relelase. I know Dannica has used it on her unfilled batches - as have several others. I think it would be a great option for limited batches as well since you can set the number to be put into the CS - the system would just need a smart filter that worked from your known remaining batches to fill.

I'm in the same boat - some of my CWs have just one little batch remaining - I'd love to get it done.

If this happens and your Scythe goes up you HAVE to let me know. It's still one of my favorite CWs on site. XD

I would LOVE this, fighting the boards to get 10 batches is a lot of work. One of my cws took months to fill at which point 4 people were MIA so it cost me a lot to submit it -_-

I suppose it would be a good thing but I would not use it. I always have looked at the Cash Shop as "off the rack" and batch CWs as "Haute couture".

I love this idea. Then when people have the csc we can grab it as we like.

Your explanation was perfect - I read it and just thought "OMG, are you in my brain reading my thoughts?" XD I've wanted this for a good while now, and really hoped the recent changes to the CS would include this. If it happened I'd be over the moon. All my remaining open batches would go in there. As it is I've got 4 spares in trades as 2 people fell off the earth and I was already covering the rest of the batch -_-

I think it would be neat, but honestly, I think it might just add another layer of confusion to the system.

We would have:

• Batches filled on forums like traditionally.
• Items released in the cash shop permanently.
• Items released in the cash shop directly for 3 (?) months then gone.
• Items released in the cash shop in X quantity then gone. Can be readded later.
• Items that had leftover batches that then get added for the last 10 slots (or whatever slots) then gone permanently.

And i might even be forgetting something there. I really just see this as adding more confusion unfortunately.

It's a great idea. This would definitely help with releasing unfilled batches.

That was my initial thought of using the CS to begin with. You could set a batch to unlimited so when the batches ran thin, you could toss it into the CS for those that couldn't get a batch full. But because the market is as such that people viewed the CS as second rate, it didn't get used and bought from as much as everyone hoped it would. I do like the idea too, but I agree with that some people may not use the CS- though limited batches at least make it a little more exclusive.... Guess we can wait and see what people do... but good idea all the same, this sort of thing happens to me all the time as well.

I fully support this. I have a couple things that didn't fill and had to cover the empty slots or I've shelved those items until further notice. This would help people stop abusing the pinging system too. I won't even get into how tired I am at seeing the same cwfill pings from the same people lol!
