What do you guys think? I think it was due for a clearing, but I wish we were told ahead of time! I'm glad the last pet I had put in there for adopting found a home before the clearing. :)

- I was a bit surprised/disappointed when I saw it had been cleared, but I understand why it was done (because of the pet colour achievements, I'm assuming).

However, on a good note, when I checked in there earlier there was only 8 pets..and I found Banquo sitting there, so got a friend to snag him for me! :D

I'm glad it got cleared, there were so many pets who would never have got a home because of their names.

I was lucky enough to find a bloodred pet in there last night. But I was really surprised this morning when I went back to look for other colors that I need. I get it but I was disappointed.

It was expected with the new achievements. Am I impressed? Not at all.

Keith had mentioned (offsite possibly?) that he was going to clear the pets from the pound, but that was months ago now.... but I guess the new achievements meant that a load of the pets in there were being adopted then reabandoned again, so I suppose it's to be expected that they cleared it when they did.

Pity though, as I was going to adopt a pet from there for my loyalty box next week :K

true, good job I wasn't after a specific pet ID though :P

....and if we get that increase in pet slots before then, I could create one sooner rather than waiting a few more days 😇

I'm always glad when the pound is cleared and I'm not sure why it bothers anyone.

I wish anything older than 2010 was left there, but I guess I can't really care one way or another. My slots are full and I've got a month and some change until a LB so it's not like they're doing me any good anyways. But I still morn the losses.

It's nice that it gets cleared now and then- but I'd prefer getting a notice about when it'd be cleared. Even if it's not a specific date and time, even just a small heads up that it'll happen in the next 'couple of days' or whatnot would be awesome. But then again- I've never really noticed it clearing before.

Warning would have been nice but other than that I'm okay with it being cleared. It was always sort of hard to find anything nice since it was so clogged up by common pets with bad names. Though I feel nostalgic about when I first joined I found my spectrum Montre, Phinean, in there. ☺ He's a keeper. Now it should be easier for others to find keepers too.

Yeah.. I like to adopt pets and zap and train them to help them find a new home.. sad to see those low IDs etc cleared!Now those lower ID pets would be again harder to find. :)

I get why they were cleared, just a little notice would have been nice. I'm sure some people put pets in there that they would have rather kept than seen them..voided.

there were some really nice colors in there. but i'm glad it got cleared! I always grab what I want right away, no point in waiting on them when anyone else can claim 'em. I found one in there that was in there for six years! I changed the name once i had her, I just loved how old she was :)

To be honest I hate pound clearings. Couldn't care less about the color achievements but all those deleted IDs and creation dates are what I'm sad about especially so close before I was able to adopt five more. Crappy timing, not cool at all.

I understand why it was done, but I think maybe a small heads up before the achievements were introduced would have been nice. I am happy with the pets that I have, and I honestly have not been in the pound for a while. However, I know some people hold birthdays and ID numbers rather high in the pet community, so perhaps giving them a 24 hour notice ahead of time would have been nice. If this was done before the achievements were introduced, then everyone would win.

But I do think it certainly needed a clearing.
