I just want to know how many people have actually stepped up and taken action about this. I only became aware of it when Subeta posted the "Do you love the internet" thing at the top of the pages, and am wondering how many people actually stepped up and called and/or emailed their local representative to protest about this?
EDIT: I dunno if this was posted elsewhere. I've been looking around but haven't seen anything. Sorry if it has.
Ain't gunna lie, I'm so lazy. I never do these things, lol. Su su su, super lazy~
I find it very funny that on msn I think they said that pron sites were using some lagging videos tactics to show their support.
To be honest, I've known about this for a while, but I haven't taken any action. On one hand, I feel like things are going to get worse if I don't take action. On the other hand, the US government terrifies me. It only cares for it's own interests and has no sympathy to those who oppose it. That might sound like exaggeration, but I've heard of not one but several anarchists who were arrested after having their homes searched without warrants. I try to keep under the radar and out of the government's way as much as possible, and signing a petition with my name and address sounds like absolute insanity to me. I wish I knew something I could do, but the only solution I can see is emigrating, which I am working on.

What is this? a world-wide thing? or just USA? Do you know of any resourceful links to prove this is happening for sure?
I'm confused, what is this referring to exactly?
It's a couple months' old story about how the USA is trying to pass these bills into law/action about how there'd be "internet fast lanes" and you have to pay more to get into these lanes and it can be cut off at any point if you go over this limit. It's really messed up.
One link (sorry, I'm at work, I can't do the fancy insert links) - http://www.cnn.com/2014/04/29/opinion/mcsherry-net-neutrality/

Thank you for the link. Now that I read it I totally rememer hearing about this through Tek Syndicate actually. But it totally sounds like an unreal thing to me. I can barely believe that's an actual thing. Gorsh I'm so naive /facepalm.
The frightening thing is how real it actually is. It's been shot down before and I'm hoping that it gets shot down completely soon.

Yeah, I agree. Although people in the highest powers probably enjoy the power this holds and will probably be subject to votes for years to come.
Unfortunately and in the meantime, it's going to mess with a lot of lives of those who do work online. x.x;
