The wizard +1 quest buff is a very nice feature. However, the time frame to get it done in is very, very short. In other words, you can't complete all 16 quests by the time that buff runs out. It would be nice if there was maybe a 15 minute time slot so that you can get the quests done. That time slot will also give you a chance to figure out if you have a buff or not as not everyone notices the purple ? right away and sometimes REs get dropped and you don't know if you have received the buff or not.

The buff assumes you've already completed all your wiz quests for the day so that you'll have USE for the buff in the first place. I think it's fine :)

Being a non-gold account I had the opportunity to do 11 quests. I attempted to complete them all in the 2 minutes 24 seconds I had left when I noticed the buff, but lo and behold doing quest 10 the site wouldn't load for at least 15 seconds causing me to lose the buff when I could have easily done it otherwise.

Grrrrr.

I still don't think it's fine as not everyone may have completed the quests before they get the buff. They then get the buff and are then annoyed they can't use it because of it's incredibly short duration :/

like I tried to tell you in the shoutbox the buff is meant for when you get the Wizard needs your help RE assuming you have already completed them. If I'm not mistaken it was a suggestion to help when the REs happen. I'm wondering if you'll get a Pete buff when you get the RE where Pete says hes hungry - I think they just implemented it is why we all just got the re like that

Well, would you have done the quests if you hadn't got the buff? The day's almost over. I had only one quest done and I got the buff. I tried to get the rest, but didn't. That's my bad, because I was being lazy today and wasn't even going to do wizard quests until I got the buff that kicked me in the butt.

When did they even start this? I haven't seen it before until just a little while ago, was about to make a thread about it myself.

I do Wiz quests almost daily. I say "almost" just because I can't on some days. The time that they get done vary, too, depending on RL.

Either increase time or maybe have that Wizard RE come up after you've completed your quests for the day...o.o

I got that one buy was in the middle of Mori's quests did not know how long the event was for until I clicked on the buff and saw it was only for a minute or so.Then it ran out

Mmm, of those two suggestions, the one I'd be more inclined to support is the getting the RE after you've already done your quests, but I don't know if that's possible with coding. To me, buffs make more sense if they don't last too long.

Well it's certainly worth doing the Wiz bonus quest, since I got another 50 pnt token on completion. That's going to encourage me to do my wiz quests daily now.

Yes please, to either one! I didn't know that the buff had such a short timer (and the site was lagging all over the place) and lost the buff while I was looking at the forums instead of questing.

The buff seems to show up for both the Wiz and Pete REs. I got the wiz and a friend got pete.

I'm actually fine with the timer. I view it as a bonus if I've done them already and I really lose little if I miss the buff completely (more than likely) or have not yet done the quests. No biggie.

I had completed my Wiz quests already so I didn't even pay attention to the time. Good to know. :)

I got it twice! The first time I had not completed the quests and missed it but then I got it again a little while later and it let me do the extra quest...

I didn't even know I had the buff until I received the notice that it had expired! I was a little sad about that :(

I actually agree. We get 30 minutes for quests, but only 5 minutes to use the buff. You probably only need to start the quest within the 5 minute time limit (and then you can take your time completing it), but it still seems strange that the limits don't match up.

Side note, I finished my extra wizard quest with 3-4 minutes left to spare on the buff timer, and got an alert after it expired, which is kind of unnecessary and confusing. The buff should probably be deleted as soon as it's used. Maybe put a message* on the page itself, but don't bother with the alert in that case.

• Yeeeaahhh, it could be a banner like the WSQ one that says "Hey, you've got a bonus quest (mm:ss remaining)" that clears when you've used it. That would be nifty.

We should get notifications for when buffs kick in, not when they expire.

Yeah...when you think about it. It's only one extra quest so it's really no big loss if I haven't done their quests yet. I just really like the idea of having a buff for a random event, so cool!
