I've come to really love this site, and I appreciate that I'm not walking on eggshells like that other site. So thank you for making this site friendly.

Word. Neopets is fun, but it's literally terrifying to communicate with anyone because you never know what might set one of the mods off, lol. Three cheers for Subeta!

Have to agree with those statements. I also like how we can communicate with staff, and especially the site owner. Like people love and hate Keith (not really hate but moreso get very frustrated with him at times), but Keith can just come onto a thread and say stuff, and that's really cool? Also how he does Keith answers.

On Neopets you don't know if you're talking to someone on staff or an automated message. I also like how we can even mention Neopets itself here. On Neo if you mention any other site except for Neopets or the neopets fan sites, they're just like OH GOD NO and freeze you. Like the staff actually has some sense around here and you're allowed to say what you want (within reason), and you don't get a warning for saying the word basement because oh god, it contains a dirty word. Then again, suck is a dirty word on Neopets.

Anyway, before I ramble because I have so much... feelings about Neopets. I've just always appreciated how free this site is compared to that one. Probably because subeta knows that the userbase is mostly adults and there's no need to try and shield us or treat us like babies.

And I just want to add - for all of the people who say you can't get anything good here on Subeta without CSC or you have to pay to play - you should try customizing your pet on Neopets without Neocash, lol. OR getting the site to function at all without Premium because almost every inch of the page is covered in flashing ads.

I know people love to bring up neopets, but I've been on a handful of other pet sites, one of which was particularly terrifying in the way it liked to censor all the things (I'm not talking curse filters btw, I'm talking Big Brother loves you 1984 stuff). Man, if I had posted half the feedback I have posted on this site on that site, my butt would have been long gone by now. I appreciate that subeta isn't pay to play and doesn't censor the crap out of everything. Sure, it's not perfect, but it's certainly not horrifyingly bad either.

Neo is the only other petsite I've ever been on. I've been a member for 14 years, so I think I know the site pretty well. >> I compare the two constantly, and Subeta comes out on top 99% of the time. There are maybe... two things that Neo does better, but I usually can't even remember them until they pop up, so I think they're pretty negligible!

Subeta is pretty cool. I think has more mature users than g.a.i.a..am I allowed to say that site? Idk. Also right now g.a.i.a's economy is even more in the crapper since they got rid of zomg being profitable in their sites currency and now the only way to have cool clothes is if you buy from their cash shop. At least with subeta they have quests to earn currency and not all the items are priced very high at all.

I love how like 2 weeks ago we were complaining about Subeta, and now we love it???

Anyway, Subeta IS a great site and I'm looking forward to the 10th anniversary celebrations. It has been great to see that staff are listening to feedback and are doing their best! :D

One HUGE improvement was the ping group for site updates. Before they didn't really communicate well when problems happened.

I'm agreeing with all the Neopets arguments, even though I met some great people there, who still are my friends (on Facebook, lol). Got my accounts frozen for ridiculous reasons and contacting them lead to a deadly silence.

I just love how we can communicate here with the staff.

I'm so glad the site updates ping group was created. It really solved the whole "but I want to know even if not every single user wants to know" thing.

I feel like Subeta is the adult version of Neopets. :)

I like this site because even if I never talk to anyone it still is fun hehe.
