I've seen some artist in the art market saying that they do quads. What's a quad?

quad = quadruped

Generally used as slang for animals, meaning not anthro characters or humans or anything else like that. Just normal animals. [/font]

Does that mean Subeta pets are quad? Or something like only dogs, cats, and animals with literally 4 legs. Or does an aeanoid counts towards a quad too? ^_^'

I believe Aeanoids would count as quads as well. Usually, people use "quad" as a blanket term to refer to any animal that is not anthro, so in this case, it doesn't specifically refer to creatures with 4 legs. :3

I think there's a bit of slop in each category. IMO an is an example already existing of an anthro aeanoid, as is Ursula the disney sea witch. My Little Pony characters don't actually have horse faces but anime human ones and their bodies are distorted from how ponies really look, yet I think of them as quad even though no natural animal looks like that.

I think it's better to look at any examples an artist gives of their work in each category. If they don't have anything linked, as them for their Deviant Art (or similar site) handle.
