And the reason for that, is because earlier on today, I went to a skin specialist, because I had a small cyst cut out of my head, had it stitched up and everything. But the side where the stitches are, is the side I sleep on. And I can't sleep on the other side, because if I do, I get vertigo. I'm frightened that if I sleep on the side with the stitches, that they will come open during the night, and the wound area will start bleeding again.

Can you sleep on your back? Why don't you call your doctor to ask about the sleeping situation and see what she/he recommends?

I would definately call your doctor to ask what they think! People naturally move around in their sleep, so I would think your stitches would be alright no matter what sleeping position you're in (but I'm no expert!). Is your hand wrapped? Maybe you can wrap it in a bandage over the stitches so you can feel more comfortable, or perhaps the doctor can give you medicine to help with the vertigo temporarily? Good luck!
