German Garmendia (known as HolaSoyGerman in Youtube) has started a campaign to bring clean water to the people living in Sahel, Africa.
Since it's in Spanish, I translated it.
"For women in Sahel, having no access to clean water means hours of pain and hard work. Many of them walk miles to get to a pit. They make this trip 3 or 4 times a day. It's not just that the water is contaminated, they also have to get it out with his own hands, bucket by bucket.
The handmade rope burns his hands; causes bleeding and destroys his hands slowly. Sometimes strings break even killing women that into the wells.
But we can change this!
We can carry pumps that run on solar power near their communities. We can give time, energy and a better future for over 100,000 people.
