[edit] Filed a ticket to be safe, thank you all so much for your help this can be locked now.
So the last time I bought csc was near the end of July, start of this month, I purchased 20 dollars worth and got 100 extra csc, no big deal. Now I know they had a promotion going on, you got extra csc within a time frame, I missed out on it but that was alright. I just went to purchase 20 dollars worth of csc right now, I got my csc + the extra 100.... and then I get this pop up saying I've earned 420csc EXTRA...... saying this was my /first/ csc purchase when really it's not my first time.
Am I missing something here? Is this a new feature or a glitch? I feel so utterly stupid. I know the extra csc promo is long over.... Do I file a ticket or is this normal? Thank you.

This is not a bug. I read something about it, maybe in the bugs forum? I can't remember exactly, but if you dig around, maybe announcements, maybe the bug forum you should find it.

Yeah I know what you mean. When we all got the retroactive 1 year achievement with 1 week GA, I first thought it was a bug.

This might be because of the changes to the referral system!

I got the same thing and I submitted a ticket about it but I was told that because of the referrals being changed that it is not a bug.
Pretty much, anyone who was referred to this site gets a 20% (i think that's right) bonus on their first CSC purchase. So since it's retroactive anyone who was referred ever would get this bonus on their next CSC purchase.

~8/23/14 If you purchase CSC and you get the message, "As a thank you for making your first CSC purchase, you&;ve been given an extra 100 CSC!" and it is not your first time buying. Please do not worry! According to a ticket that was filed, "Those xxx CSCs are legitimate! It&;s a part of the new referral system. For those who signed up before this feature was implemented (like yourself), the "next" CSC purchase gets the bonus." Congrats on the bonus CSC!

Yeah I'm pretty sure. Either way I'll just wait for my ticket to get a final answer just to be safe.
