I was just checking the battle shop today, and was wondering, why isn't there a trading up with battle tokens? Currently there's the feature of trading down tokens (e.g. from impossible levels down to medium or easy), right? What if we have many battle tokens that are easy or medium tokens and want to trade up because (for example) we might find little use for the easy or medium tokens? Also maybe have a required tier level before allowing the trading up of tokens?

While I would definitely love this, I have to say no. The reason you can't trade up is because the very hard and impossible stuff is supposed to be hard to get. Its a reward (one of the very few) of all the time and sP you put into training your pet and spending oodles of sP on weapons to be able to battle at that level.

What if you could just trade up to hard? Leave very hard and impossible out of the choices to trade up, that way they retain their value.

No, this doesn't need to be added. It would make it far too easy to get the higher level tokens. If you can't get those higher level tokens yet, too bad. Train your pet some more. Don't take away from the earnings of people who've worked to get their pet to a high enough level to get those tokens legitimately.

I wouldn't mind seeing this added if you're already at a given tier first (i.e. your pets still need to be strong enough to fight a hard opponent before you can trade up to hard tokens).

Even with tier requirements, this would still be a bad idea. I don't battle past 10 wins, like ever, and I still have thousands of low level tokens just sitting around. If I (with my t12 pet) could trade them all up, I'd have enough for 3-4 of the Volatile Components.

One easy/medium token doesn't have to equal one Extremely Hard/Impossible token. It could be 500 easy tokens = 1 Extremely Hard token and 1000 easy tokens = 1 Impossible token (I'm just throwing numbers out as an example). This would prevent the Extremely Hard/Impossible tokens from becoming very easy to obtain. Those that can only farm easy/medium tokens would have to put in a lot of work to gain that many tokens to trade in every single time.

Requiring a LOT of tokens and being over a certain tier to trade up should make this enough of a challenge. Maybe limit how many tokens you can trade up each day as well?

I vote no - Because after a month of doing BQs I can have hundreds of easy & Medium tokens. And the whole premise of the tokens is a reward for beating a rather difficult opponent which is why the prizes get better as they increase in level.

You want the better tokens? Train your pet more and work for them just like everything else on the site.

I don't think this is a good idea, everyone needs to earn there tokens and mainly for the components. As others say it's a reward.

While I would love this as my luck with Impossible Tokens is so shitty it hurts I vote no, it's hard and annoying and frustrating to get the important Tokens but that's how it's supposed to be.

I vote no. I can see the appeal, but it wouldn't work well in reality. Buy the items you want from users instead, there's usually people selling. Or people willing to buy and resell.

Though, might want to consider putting some more shiny things in the higher tiers? Components or nothing gets dull, and they cost a lot. Scroll? Booster? Crystal with blessing/curse? (I mean, if we're all here anyway...)

No matter how much I'd live to have more impossible tokens, I'd have to say no, because it'd definitely make getting the impossible tokens too easy. I'd rather see more items in the shop =D More cool weapons please!

Sorry hon but I gotta say no to the idea. Those tokens are Very Hard/Impossible for a reason. We have to work for them.

You can always spend your bank of Easy/Med tokens to buy the boosters for your pets or to give as gifts. Boosters are always welcome in the eyes of the battler.

No to trading tokens up, yes to more cool battle shop stuff! Look how empty and sad the last three tiers are. c:

A big no from me to on this. Those tokens are something that are earned with hard work and dedication. As many others have said, they are a reward.

I do however agree we need some more new shinies in there for the higher tiers. pretty please with a cherry on top?? :)
