Making 2 suggestions here. First one is creating a "lucky day" on Subeta. A day when all chances to do or find something are greater. Easier Crypts, a bit more of BHH stock, Random Events, Oracle Quests, etc. Just for 1 day. I think it would help the site to become a little more active if it happens in those gaps between events, and also puts some hard to obtain items (like crypts' ones) into circulation. Not sure how often it'd happen though. Once or twice per year? And the second one is not new, but never happened again. Tempest Mondays should be a thing! First Monday of the month, maybe? (Be just like the Peka-Boo: The Tempest RE becomes more common for a day and all the maps have the rain overlay on.)

The only issue I can find with the "Lucky Day" idea is... some people if they know when it happens will only come online during that one day and when it's over, they'll disappear again. Lag and page loading could take forever due in part to people wanting to get as much done within a short time frame as possible.

Then what about not telling when it happens? Also I don't know if that alone will bring a lot more people online, enough to lag the site. I mean, it wouldn't be a "you win everything" day, chances would just be a little better and that's all.

Yeah if no one knew and it just happened it be fine but chances are word of mouth travels fast and it still could wind up with a lot of lag and people being online. But then again that's the same with anything on Subeta right?

I guess so :P Still not sure if that would be enough to make the site lag.

this lucky day idea is very much like the account perks that they were thinking about implementing for people who buy CSC. It looks like they went with the punchcard instead.

I'd consider this for lukewarm support if it were random. Mostly though the luck already happens as part of normal play so an extra boost should be something that you do something for. If it's not an account perk from donating, something else of value.

I like the lucky day idea c: Either add it as an account perk, somehow, or, you know, make it either your birthday or your subeta anniversary be that lucky day -- doesn't need to be the same day for everyone, if lag would become an issue.

Anxiously waiting for Tempest mondays, too, I'm just the unluckiest person ever when it comes to REs!

Yeah, I hope it would be more feasible that way! I'm not sure something could be done about the actual BHH restocking, but at least allowing people to visit it more times per hour on that day would already be a great thing ^^

i ADORE the Tempest Mondays. even if it was just one day a month, randomly selected. a couple storm related items could be released, the map would be covered in rainfall, NPC characters could have soggy/rain soaked outfits on. there could be rain-related random events (ex. you have stumbled upon a discarded umbrella! how lucky!) i think there is a LOT of potential with this one, and i bet staff has already thought of some of it too!

i like the lucky day idea but agree it should definitely be different for every user. and of course who wouldn't love to have it on their birthday? subetiversary works too.

and it wouldn't have to be anything crazy, like guaranteed winnings. but say random events are currently have a 1% (total random number) chance of showing up on each page load, raise it to like 5%.

it could work for the hustler, scratch cards and maybe even battling (not sure the science behind the numbers of battling)

i don't think BHH restocks would work because how could you make it restock for just one person?

I looove Blanche's idea to make it a different day for every user! Birthday would obvs be nice, I do strongly suggest the subetaversary though. Reason: if you really wanna make use of your lucky day, it should not be the day you're most likely busy with friends and family and party on. :D

Haha, I actually prefer the anniversary* too! For both that reason and the fact that it just feels a lot more fitting, "spend your Subeta milestone enjoying Subeta", you know XD

I remember when crypts difficulty was tweaked a while back and so many bragging boards popped up at the same time. xD Just as long as it isn't THAT easy to complete the crypts, because I swear during that time I tried only a few times and got to the end. Judging by what happened, I think a lot of folks did too.

I think your subeta birthday makes the most sense though I wouldn't be opposed to it happening during the anniversary if it doesn't cause an obscene amount of lag that is.
