I know, I know, I make too many annoying suggestions.

But I have a wee question or two. Why do we have waves of gelatins? What utility does this serve?

It seems that it might be more convenient for many people if they could simple battle the gelatin opponents (aside from the impossible one) at any time during Gelatin "week". This would make people happy; as having waves merely serves to impede's one progress and it would really benefit those who couldn't face a wave or two due to a scheduling conflict.

Plz implement this!

Unlimited would be wonderful but I'm pretty sure the reason why we have them is a challenge ... that and I guess they want to make the Gelatin Slayer more elusive, if you're given a limit you're more inclined to set goals and aim for them within the time constraints. I admit it does suck if you work or have to deal with personal matters you'll miss out but these things happen sadly.

Though if we did get Unlimited Gellies it could be far easier for the admins/UAs to know how far along we got before the achievements crapped out (if they did) because you could easily show all your battle logs, then your achievement counter and they could tally the difference.

No support - I actually like the waves format for this event, it reminds me of how actual invaders might arrive, which gives the event its character.

In every other type of event, the opponents are available for the entire period and there's no particular urgency. I get the desire to make this as easy and accessible for everyone at all times, but it also kind of takes the surprise and chance out of it, IMO. I say this as someone who just caught the tail end of this wave and may very well have to wait for next year to work on achievements. :)

In the past the staff's been pretty good about releasing another wave if one disappears too quickly, if I remember correctly.

Waves encourage users to log on each day. I think there would also be more lag if all of them were released at once, because there would be a group of people that would want to battle everything right away (also a group of people that would try to fit everything in last minute so lag at the end). Sorry, as much as this suggestion is convenient, that's not what "wars" are really about, right? Waves just fit better.
