I don't have the motivation to keep up with training my pet's stats. I almost got to tier 3 and I gave up three times.
So, I have decided to adopt a battle pet that has already been trained. I provide profiles, overlays, stories, treasure chests, and minions for each of my pets, and I am well on my way to getting each of my pets a spotlight win. If you don't want your pet to chance species, color, name, gender, and the like, please let me know and I will happily comply.
As proof of both my willingness to keep adoptees and of my willingness to not change pets as requested, I adopted Usui from another user (with an app) as Usui the male Common Experiment , and many years later, since it was their request, he is still Usui the male Common Experiment . He won spotlight around my birthday, so I'm particularly proud of him for that (birthday present yaaay).
I have good battle weapons already, they've just been sitting around forever because I've been spending all this time waiting for my to-be battle pet to grow into them and it's not happening. I've got the batwing blade and eternal in Liing's treasure.
Feel free to ask any questions.
Thank you so much, Virus! He's perfect! ;u;
...if you don't have the motivation to keep up with training pet's stats, why would someone who spent a lot of time, money, effort, to train their own pet give it to you? You've just admitted that you won't continue training it, so it's not even going to be a 'starter' pet for you.
Not very good form.
Lol if someone was quitting and wanted to give away their battle pet or just didn't want to battle anymore and couldn't think of a character
they probably wouldn't pound it
Its quite difficult to post on any of the forums without being contradicted about the littlest things. Of course, if someone doesn't find worthy of adopting their battle pet, they wont post. Simple as that. She obviously can do other nice things with the pet that will make up for her lack of continuing to train.
I wish you well in finding your pet ^_^
I think it's quite within reason to question someone who basically posts 'I can't be bothered to train my own battle pet, but I want someone to give me one.' That's hardly the same thing as contradicting someone about a pointless issue or being nitpicky.
good luck :)
Although I will say you will probably get on better if you battle whichever pet you got close to tier 3 (at least that shows an interest in battling rather than just potentially wanting a higher-tiered pet for "status"). But if you even just shove that not-quite-tier-3 pet into training twice a day, you could have a nicely statted pet faster than finding a higher tiered one to adopt.
And I speak from experience here - I'd applied to adopt a tier 11 pet from a Subetan who was quitting. I decided to train my battle pet in the meantime (in the end, that Subetan never came back to adopt out their pets), and my pet now has higher stats than the one I wanted to adopt. Having trained it myself, it means more, if that makes sense? ;)

People are going to disagree. Don't post if you can't handle it.
Tier 3 is not at all uncommon to find in the pound. :)

I have found many battle pets in my few years here from the pound, granted they aren't as easy to come by as the t1 and t2 pets. My foster pets have generally been t3 in the past. Also I found and kept a t4 I found because the name and species were just too perfect together. You'll have to scavenge every pet you see and not be name picky because some of the ones named NAME_23235 are ones from old inactive accounts where the user came back and got either bored or upset at the name changes, and I've seen a few of those get snapped up and renamed due to their stats.
I am however going to wish you luck in getting a battle pet handed to you though. As a battler myself I'd have a hard time just giving my time and efforts over to someone who gives up on their own pet training, even if I were quitting or reducing my pet numbers. Even users who quit will leave pets on their account if they feel nobody can suit as a new home for their pets, or as stated above just stop coming to the site. Though not to say it /WON'T/ happen cuz I have seen it once or twice where this kind of board was successful in an adoption. Just don't give up on the pound and check it daily.
FINALLY GOT THE 15K WARDROBE DONE!!!!! Next up gutting and selling it.
Nah I want to battle because it's a lot of fun, I'm just having a hard time getting my own pet to the point where I can battle everything. You can only kill a worm so many times, you know?
I guess I figured people wouldn't pound them because I wouldn't - I'll start looking! Thanks!!
D'aw, thanks~
