Has anyone applied or participated in Teach for America? If so, what were you experiences with the training institute and your actual placement? Is it a worthwhile program to go into?

The recruiter at my university won't get off my face about applying and I'm not sure if I feel comfortable about going into it. I don't feel... capable as a teacher.
