Please remove the retired holiday or VIP items from the quests, not everyone has or can get them, especially when prizes jump to the roof on this type of items. Thank you.

I do Quentin's quests every day, and it is rare that I ever see them ask for an item that costs more than ~50k. I'm pretty sure they're already coded not to ask for items that are too expensive, and since it already seems like they ask for their own quest rewards about half the time it, I'd say they're more than balanced.

A LOT of those retired event items are very very cheap. Sure some of them are expensive, but just don't do that quest. A lot of the items, like the Morostide ones, get released every so often as well so they don't usually get too expensive. I think they are fine staying in the quest pool, gives them some worth really.

I'm pretty sure Keith has said time and again that you're not meant to be able to do every single quest. So like Seerow said just don't do that quest and move on.

IIRC they're already set to not ask for items above a certain price, and skipping a quest (for any quest giver) is really not that uncommon, you're not going to be able to do every quest every day. Skip it and move on. If these quests didn't ask for those items they would go back to being completely worthless (and some still are even with the quests).

I love how they ask for retired event/holiday things like crap from the pumpkin patch. 40-60k per quest for Quentin? In a heartbeat I'll spend it.

And then things are laughable expensive or unbuyable (which happens once every few days, at best!) skip the quest and carry on and do the next one, and no more issue.

Pretty sure it's the point of Quentin to ask for holiday items, most are dirt cheap and absolutely worthless. And they just sit around rotting in people's hoards. I feel like this balances things more out.

Plus you aren't supposed to do every quest.

I like Quentin's quests because of that very reason. Don't get me wrong, I don't want a retired holiday item inflating through the roof, but if it weren't for Quentin's quest, a lot of these items would be rotting and most likely deflating. ;s

Nope - We need some way to get rid of the thousands (Maybe even hundred thousand) of event items that don't have a "Use".

I love that we have the option of quitting a quest without penalty, it's one of my favorite features on this site. I've had Nori ask for items that were super expensive, and while I expect it from Sag, it's disconcerting when it's a different person's quest.
