I'm trying to go full force into the market, but I'm a little weary with some of the conditions a few hirers are proposing. Maybe I'm not understanding, but some of them require you to submit artwork and then the art becomes theirs/they don't mail it back? This sounds wrong to me..

I guess I'm just looking for stories. Good or bad. Or any advice you think I should know!

My professors never really went over freelancing and what comes with it so I'm extremely curious what some subetans have experienced.
