So I snagged this qt booty today

My sister is going through a little storm right now so I wanted to give her some encouragement to let her know to keep her head up.

Contrary to the city destroyed by mt. Vesuvius, "Pompeii" is named after the song Pompeii by Bastille. More importantly the emotion expressed in the lyrics "but if you close your eyes, does it almost feel like nothing changed at all" The song provided a sort of 'hope' for her that things would get better. I'm sure everyone has a song that they listen to (or in her case wait to listen to) when they were feeling down, this was hers, and it was a big part on her relationship. It seemed to always come on the radio when she was worried or upset over something, and it would be her cue that everything in the end would be "O K."

I want a pet that conveys a sort of 'hopeful' image. If it helps anything the background/layout for his profile will be a sort of 'nighttime' theme, maybe something with stars since stargazing was also a big part of this song to her, or fireflies. Maybe even a rainstorm because of the memory she has attached with them. But one thing is certain I'm at a loss for which pet to make him. I have a potion, so name any species combined with any theme you can think of and it can be done! c:

If the pet is going to have a nighttime theme and stargazing is important to your sister, then Galactic seems the obvious color to choose. Is your sister is particularly fond of a particular animal, I would go for the species that most resembles that.

Storm also sounds good. It's one of the most expensive colors too, so I'm sure she'd appreciate the gesture. Of the Storm pets, the Kumos and the Telenine look the most hopeful and determined, but the Kanis might work as well.

Something firefly-esque sounds good for a minion. Do any of these work?

Galactic could be a thought. She's particularly fond of cats, more importantly her Norwegian Forest cat named Horror, so I would either go with Celinox, Demi, or Keeto. Those three are the ones that look the most "fat and fluffy." She's also very fond of Jollin.

Storm was something I was considering. I was looking at the Kanis mainly for the lyric "great clouds roll over the hills bringing darkness from above", but also because of the fact that the Kanis was looking up and facing the rain, and when she heard the song she'd often look up and close her eyes. The Kumos is a good idea too. I love the Telenine because of how happy it looks. The reason I had brought up the possibility of rain was because she had a memory of her and her...temporary ex (I guess that's a way to put it) boyfriend playing out in the rain with the song in the background. But I'm not very sure if that would invoke happiness or pain in her right now, and God knows I don't want to cause the later. Snow was also very important to her, but the Glacier pets just look so sad and downtrodden that I don't think they would work for it hahaha.

I really like the second minion. What is that one called?

Having listened to that song, I feel like the Storm Kanis really suits it. It may look more sad than the Kumos or Telenine, but a little catharsis can be very therapeutic. Of course, you know your sister best, so I can't make any decisions for you.

Out of the species you mentioned I'd go for the Jollin or the Celinox. The jollin is one of the few pets you mentioned that appears to be smiling. Other options would be a Hipottu, Kanis or Kerubi. They aren't cat-like but they do give that sort of feeling of hope (to me at least). It depends on the color you pick, but those look good in their common color.

If you want a Storm pet, I'd say the Kumos. It looks like it can get through anything, while the Kanis seems unsure. That's my opinion though.
