I want to create a new pet but the name is taken. I checked the page and saw this: Owner: User not found (1): I know that if a user in inactive you can claim their username and pets names but I can't claim this pets name even though they aren't even listed on the website anymore. Why is that?

The pet is probably in the pound. Those pets don't have owners, and display the "User not found" message under owner info.

I don't think you can change to that name if the pet exists in the pound.
