Struck at 3:20am. We felt it clear up in North Lake Tahoe. Hope everyone is OK [edit] Seeing the damage on the news now. Looks bad.

I didn't feel anything where I'm at... Haven't gotten around to looking at the news yet, so I haven't seen the extent of the damage.

My bff's mom lives in San Francisco, she texted me at 9:30 this morning (6:30 their time) and scared me to death. No real harm done where she is, thankfully.

The day that this quake happened I was sleeping late into the morning and having some huge nightmares, though I'm in Sacramento and I don't think anyone felt it here. I simply think I was feeling something intuitively. I woke up feeling very shaky and I had NO clue why. I noticed right away that I had a message on my voice mail (my phone blinks) and it was my dad calling me from Wisconsin, where I'm from. He'd heard about it on the National news and he called to see how I was. If he hadn't called me I wouldn't have known about it since I don't watch TV and rarely look at news online, but I searched online for news that day!

This was a fairly large quake and they say that the "big one" could hit tomorrow or in another 50 or 100 yrs. I'm ready to go, I've lived enough.
