I have very slowly trained my baby, Iluvatar, for years. I've done some brutish, unskilled battling here and there, usually because there was an achievement or prize in it for me. But, I tried to stick to training, because I knew someday I'd regret it if I didn't. And now, finally, 1000 of every stat! I was about 20 away in each and spent my EXP, of which I had a surprising amount. And, funny, but I'm starting to enjoy this battling stuff. I've been doing so much of it in the last few days and not dying immediately, that I'm starting to figure it out. All of the things I've read in the awesome battle guides are starting to click. Pats on the back to me for sticking with training!

My pets are fairly young, but my goal is for my main pet to reach 1000+ on every stat asap, though i know it was take months if not years.

congrats!! 1000 evens is definitely a milestone worth celebrating. after that range it finally starts to sink in that you've graduated 'punching bag' status :P

Congrats. Battling is a gradual hobby. Actually, from my experience, I can say that there is no wrong place or time to start when it comes to battling.

I think it starts out a hobby then it becomes to addictive and before you know it, its the only reason your here :P
