I saving for this item but if I bought the August 2009 collection what might be the chances of getting the Tropical sand dollar in it?

If you buy the collection box you can choose exactly what you want from it, it isn't random. :) Any presents with 'collection' are ones you can pick from, 'donation' presents are random.

No chance involved. You can pick what you want from "Collections", it's "Donation Presents" that are random.

It's a Collection so, as far as I know, you can choose which item you receive. The Donation Presents are the ones that give out a random item.
