To anyone who can help, I cannot figure out how much I need to offer in the main shops to purchase items. I've gotten so sick of trying to give it the price that it wants that I have resulted in only purchasing from user shops only which can be more expensive than the main shops. It is irritating to keep guessing for an object and constantly receive the same response. I once offered 10,000 sP more than the original price for an item and was still rejected. Is there a way to know or at least estimate how much an object would cost, so I don't have to waste so much time uselessly guessing? Thank you for your time. :) Kittyclaws911 Philippians 2:10-11

Your offer will always be rejected if you offer more than the asking price. I'd try 10% less and see how that goes. Frankly, I just round the price of anything 2000+ down to the nearest hundred because I'm lazy xD
Worst case scenario, you can just offer the exact amount it's asking and that will always work.
What Linens said. ^^ I tend to make it as fast to type as possible - example, if the shopkeeper asks for 483 sps, I'll just type 444 - but as long as it isn't much less than the original price, anything should work!
Thanks to both of you so very much. :) Now I will finally be able to purchase from the main shops!

also, you may be having a problem because you are including extra characters. Just enter the numbers. No commas or anything else. Example: 3,215 will be rejected, use 3215 instead.

Thank you also. :) I just tried to purchase again, and my offer was received for the first time ever! :D

the most discount you can get is 15%. I often will offer something more than that, if it's easy or quicker to type. If you have a discount card, it automatically gets applied after that.
