i've read some guides and threads already, still i still find it helpful when i'm talking to someone and i can always ask direct questions.
so, i really really wanted to understand this pet thing :P so here's a lot of questions. please be patient with me.
Is there a specie you can make out of combining pet species? i keep seeing pets that i think i've never seen before, and they are very pretty.
Can you make certain patterns on your pet through some items like elixir or potions? or is that what overlays does? If yes, i'd like to know more about overlays please.
For battles, how do you actually equip weapons, and where do i see how it works? like is that weapon strong? does it damage big? and etc.
I've seen pets, or species that doesn't normally have wings, but some of the pets i've seen they do have wings, is there like accessories you can put on your pets?
What is Pet Maker Kit?
What is Steamwork pets? How does Pitcher works? What is Galactic, Hydrus and Bumbus? What is Nostalgic Pet color? How does treasures affect your pet? Is there good books and food they can read? or just any would do?
Uh, I'll try to answer... but my forte isn't random pet colors.
You cannot "breed" pets. You change your pets using Elixirs, Potions, certain quests from certain NPCs or the Zapper. Steamwork/Galactic/Hydrus/Nostalgic are all different pet colors. You'll find some of your questions answered here: [topic not found]
Pets do not have accessories. You can use overlays to change the image of the pet (essentially draw a new one). If you want the pet's new image to show up everywhere the pet is shown you should look into Custom Overlays - here. Overlays can be done using coding on the pet profile.
Treasures do not affect pets at all, but they do allow you to put more items in the Treasure Chest. A lot of people use this for enhancing their pet's story.
Any book/food item is good. Your pet will tell you it likes/dislikes food items, but that is randomly generated. If you feed it 100 apples it will randomly tell you it's awful or awesome, so it's irrelevant.
You don't equip weapons anymore, you put them in your Armory. Click on the weapon and choose "Move to Armory". From there you can create a default set (that you use often) or you can choose weapons each time you battle.

how about the pet market kit?
Pets can be changed into different colors, some are just colorfills (e.g. Dawn or Arid) and keep the original pose of a Pet, others change the pose / mood of a Pet like the ones you've posted - Bloodred and Angelic Jollin.
Besides reading the F.A.Q. that suggested you might also want to check the Subeta section of Neocolours to see how many different species and colors Subeta has to offer and how they affect each species...given that it has been drawn already.

ahhh awesome haha, i just got interested on pets now xD i'm usually more on human side of avatars :3 after browsing a few of the pets here, i got interested hehe.

That's great, too Subeta's avatar system is definitely fun although I'm not really an expert, haha! Way back when I joined there were no human avatars by the way (we used those old school images as avatars and you could even load up a personal one if you had a Gold Account...so long ago XD) so I joined for the Pets that were Subeta's main feature at that time.
