This just happened not too long ago, There hasn't been much information released yet, but the mall is on lockdown, police everywhere, trying to figure things out.

This hits really close to home, I only live a few miles away from where this happened. I'm praying for those involved, and that no one I know got caught up in this...

edit: There are 4 people injured in the shooting already being treated at Froedtert hospital, and 3 more expected. None of them are in critical condition, according to an update by Fox news.

edit2: The shooter is still on the loose, and Brookfield police say that the community is in danger until the suspect is brought in.

The suspect is Radcliffe Haughton (45), a black male from Brown Deer, 6"1', 270 lbs, bald. Wearing a grey sweater, blue jeans, carrying white and black backpack, and drives a black 2003 Mazda Protege, license plate 171-KZD.

Anyone local, please keep an eye out, and help bring him in, however, he is more than likely armed, and very dangerous. Do not attempt to approach; call the police immediately.

Edit 3: photo released by local news station; TMJ4 - [link]. According to the Journal Sentinel, the vehicle is no longer being sought, but Haughton is still at large.

Edit4: An update from the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel says "The gunman in the Brookfield spa shooting is dead". He apparently was found at the spa. "Update/Clarification: Broadcast outlets are saying shooter is dead of self-inflicted wound, and attributing that to the police. We have not been able to independently verify this yet."

Oh goodness... this is actually really terrifying with all the spree shooting that had gone on lately, I really hope they find this guy fast. He's not going to stop.

Oh god. :( Here's hoping that any victims remain non-critical. I just cannot even understand the thought process behind horrifying actions like these.

What is with all the spree shootings this past two years? That's freaky. Glad nobody was fatally injured.

Milwaukee bomb-squad is on scene. Apparently a propane-based IED has been found as well. Froedtert is also on lockdown while the suspect is at large.

God, I hope this bastard is found soon. I can't fathom why someone would do something so awful..

I wasn't planning on going anywhere today - even before all this happened.

What really bothered me was seeing footage on the news earlier where people were walking with their kids near the mall trying to see what happened. My god, people, really? How stupid do you have to be to go near there right now AND TAKE YOUR CHILDREN WITH YOU?

reminds me of the young children that were injured in the Aurora Shooting, I mean come on...a Batman film at midnight?

Wow, that's terrifying. :( I was just thinking about the shooting from the Batman premiere earlier, and to come home to find a news story like this... :( Very tragic.

Dio, I hope your friends and family are alright, and I am happy to read that no one was critically injured, at the very least.

that was terrible to hear about..and that one hit close to home as well, i have family in aurora, and i'm grateful that no one i know was caught in either situation.

Oh, no, not more :( What is wrong.... oh no :( I used to live in Milwaukee, fortunately family isn't near there, but, what an awful way to end a day out ... Just awful. While I'm glad the man is dead, I don't understand this need to take out so many with you. Just off yourself and go. No need to ruin everyone else. What an awful thing.

Taking your children to a late night film, while pretty irresponsible, is not going to endanger their life the way taking them to a fresh crime scene might. Apples and oranges.
