Sooo, I'm moving out of my apartment back into my mom's house, because it'll be cheaper for the both of us for now.

Unfortunately, her fiance's kid (the room I'm moving into), is moving rooms as well... And he had poop all over his walls.

Literally, shitty fingerprints all over the walls and a hoard of shitty underpants hidden in his closet.

Eeeeeeeeeughhhh. We made him clean the walls as I washed the floors.

Um. Anyone else have any terrible moving experiences before?

(If someone things it's worth it to ping wtf, go ahead, but unless someone thinks it's wtf-worthy, I'm not going to. xD)

Bleck this is so disgusting.

My old roommate peed all over the guest bathroom (Which I didn't use since I had my own.) It was so disgusting we just threw everything away, and bleached everything down. I have no idea why she was doing that. Too nasty.

.....wtf. How old is the kid? That's... fffffffffff.

I dunno, the worst I've got is the time I helped my dad move and there were tons of spiders everywhere. At the end of it I wouldn't even sit down, I just wanted to stand in the middle of the floor and not touch anything. XD;

And once I lived with a hoarder, but moving was pretty easy... I just packed up my stuff, and after that it was just a matter of taking out a million trash bags and scrubbing the crap out of everything. But not literal crap. That's just... I am so sorry you have to live in that room. D: Was it possible to get the smell out? Poo-smell sticks so bad sometimes..

Eeeeeeewwwww D:

I can only think of a handful of times when poop has gone anywhere other than my kid's diaper. I always cleaned it up immediately. That's just foul.

Before we moved into this place three years ago, we went all over town apartment hunting. One of the places had a used condom in one of the closets. We were like oh HELL naw.

We only go into his room when my mom is putting him to bed. It's pretty dark in here, so. I mean, we probably should've seen, but I guess we weren't looking to see if there was poop on the walls. They didn't smell too bad, so.

He's six.

He's done that before, too. He lied about it until my mom cleaned it up and saw it was pee D: Wtf.

Eugh, the only thing that's almost as bad as poop is spiders. Actually, I'd rather the poop I think. I despise spiders. The smell came out, since it wasn't too bad to begin with. We left the window open all day and bleached everything, so.

Yuck, condoms gross me out. o_O Even UNused ones. That would give me the "no" feeling.

That's disgusting. A 6 year old should know better. How you guys never noticed the smell is beyond me.

The only bad moving experience I had so far, is the apartment I moved into, the lady was a heavy smoker so everything was yellow and smelled of thick heavy smoke. It took a week to clean.

I'm ashamed we didn't notice it. :/ I don't know how nobody saw or smelled it, but really, all we can do now is keep a closer eye and make sure he doesn't do it anymore.

And that's gross :| I've heard of heavy smokers making everything yellow, but I've lived with smokers (and am one) my whole life... maybe we're just cleaner smokers?

**Edited for fail ping.

ROFL! Cleaner smokers XD

It was awful when I moved in. The walls LEAK TAR even though they got painted. It's so gross. I cant clean it because, I gag (I never had a gag reflex up until about a few years ago), and it's pointless because it's back right after I clean it.

Also, my floors are stained yellow (I only have floors in the bathroom, kitchen and dining room). If I leave anything on the carpet, it smells like smoke. Ugh...

Well, that (the bolded part) probably explains why you didn't smell the poop - smoking (and breathing in secondhand smoke) really kills your sense of smell, and the smell of cigarette smoke gets everywhere and is really overpowering (unless you're acclimated to it, in which case you're probably at the point where you can't really smell much, anyway.)

I can't tell if you're making fun of me or not...

Either way, we don't have any carpets in my house and we air the house out constantly. That sounds incredibly disgusting. I've never had to deal with that before, and everyone in my family smokes O_o; I guess it makes sense when it's like that for too long though. I hope that it can get cleaned soon.

I already know that.

So, the topic has changed from the original topic of this, to how horrible/damaging/whatever it is that I smoke? Rofl. Okay.

No. If I were going to tell you that, I would tell you that. God knows I don't really have any problems talking about how much I hate smoking.

But that's not the point here. I was just pointing out that you don't really have anything to be "ashamed" of because you couldn't smell the mess. Whether the cause is self-inflicted or not, a dulled sense is a dulled sense. Just chalk it up to that shrugs

Hmm... I worked in real estate selling houses for ten years. You'd be amazed at some of the nasty things I've seen (bloody pads/tampons stuck to walls, words written in poop, hundreds of piles of dog/cat crap throughout the house, toilets filled to overflowing with human feces).

What was most astonishing to me is that most of these things were in homes in very rich/expensive neighborhoods.

Oh my gosh, first off, I don't know why but the title made me laugh so painfully hard.

Second, Secret's post reminds me of when we first moved into this gorgeous two bedroom, two bath, corner top floor with a view condo. Loved that place so much. Memories. Anywho, it was a really beautiful place, and when we moved in, we actually had to hire a carpet cleaner. Apparently whoever did the last job did not do a good job at all, or even did it, because the carpet was dirty, and on top of that was a thin layer of hair everywhere. Long, brown, human hair. Everywhere. So we had to vacuum first, then have the cleaner come in. Needless to say it was taken off our rent and the landlords were mortified, and especially furious with the company that did their renting out for them. We also found a used condom stuffed behind one of the toilets. Apparently the cleaning ladies did more than clean! :o Or not clean at all, since we had to clean the place too by hand before moving in.

Oh, I see. My apologies, then. I guess the last few days have made me a bit touchy.

Ugh, ew. That just sounds terrible ;-; I hope that you didn't have to do any of that cleaning yourself.

You really had to clean the condo yourself before you moved into it? That sucks. A lot. And I'm glad the title made you laugh xD That was the goal.

No, thankfully. I was just selling the home for the bank or the current owner. It was their job to clean it up or hire someone else to clean it for them because I certainly wasn't going to drag potential buyers through houses like that.

Did her son explain why he hid his underwear in the closet and wiped poop on the walls? :/ I once hid a pair of pajamas bottoms that I had gotten sick in. I put them in the very bottom of the clothes hamper without telling anyone and of course they knew because.. well, they got them out to wash them. I did it because I was living with my grandparents at the time and I was scared of my grandmother (I don't know why.. she wasn't mean to me). Maybe there's an underlying issue that's causing his behavior because I certainly don't think what he's doing is normal for that age.

I don't think I would be able to use that room though. I would still imagine all the poopy fingerprints on the wall every time I laid down. :P
