ok so I submitted a new name and the schematics/key to have said pet made/built for the gear version..just searched the name a bit ago and noticed the NPC has the nonsw version of said pet made..is this something new or has this always been the case..

Without the name of the pet, sort of hard to say. Did you search beforehand? And if you won't give the name (sort of understandable, but could make it easier for someone to confirm the issue), does the pet's page at least say when it was created?

yeah I searched for it yesterday and it didn't exist, created yesterday as well(npc that has it is Isaac)

Oh, if the NPC with it is Isaac, pretty sure that's normal, since he makes the Steamwork pets. Just looks like the process isn't done yet.

It means no one can take the pet in the three days it takes for it to be made. It's just to make sure you get the name :)

That's fine :) I haven't done it before so I actually had to check up with my girlfriend to see if the same thing happened with her pet (She made him back in April so it's not exactly a long time ago but it's still not recent so it's not a new thing either)

thanks..I found the name (when debating on which pet to go for, was trying to decide between feli, kumos or montre) and saw the meaning (A small demon that instigates people into wickedness.) and it just fit the feli(playful like) so went with it. lol

Feli is perfect! It's also the name of a demon cat in this hilarious (seriously, it's kind of ridiculous that this show exists) anime!
