IDK if this should be in the art forums or not, but I didn't think it was relevant.

So, I'm broke an unemployed and my car needs a paint job since it's really sun damanged because I was too lazy to wax it. /fail. Anyhow, I decided fuck that shit, I'm an artist, I got this. So I'm going to some custom painting on the parts that need touch-ups. Namely the spoiler, the front near the headlights and some other odds spots. I'm going to some sort of abstract design (maybe celtic knot-work or lightening bolts) on the hood and doors too, so whatever. :3 problem is, I can't decide on a color scheme.

This is the exact car in the same color (yay black it's so unique lmfao):

Anyway, I want to keep it simple between two to three colors. ...Just give me some ideas, some inspiration for a design would be awesome too!

I'd go for something understated in a sophisticated color. Dark metallics could be nice, like a slate grey or a forest green. My best friend did some very pretty neon accents on her hubcaps and she noticed she was getting more attention from traffic cops because her car was so easy to spot.

I was actually thinking of doing metallic gold or bronze lightening bolts and accents. :3 And haha, I don't care that much about the cop thing. This car is already a cop magnet. I can't count how many times I've gotten pulled over but I've never gotten a ticket because I'm not doing anything wrong. It's just that it's one of the cars to get stolen, apparently. ...Because it's fast and worth decent money.

I think darker shades of metallic gold and bronze would be pretty with like, a dark rust red, or something. I agree with , something understated would be really pretty on that car!
