Does anyone know how long the wait is for us helping to clean out rats in the Galley?

Its very random but I've never been able to figure out the exact range. I read somewhere the minimum was an hour, but i don't recall ever being able to clean out rats that soon. I try to check every two hours or so, but often forget.
