I'm searching for a name kind of like my pet, Humanoid. I want an other endeavor, so i'm seeking robot, mechanical names. Names ending on -oid.

Well, there is Metalloid, which can mean having the appearance of a metal, but it really is more suited for a certain class of element on the periodic table. Then there's Plasmoid, a region of plasma held relatively stable within a magnetic field.

Those are the first two unusual ones that come to mind. I tried to associate the names with at least metal, but nothing robotic or mechanical really pops up for me. D:
