So, on the way home from getting my wisdom teeth removed, I randomly wake up in the car, giggling. Just... giggling. So my brother asks me why I'm giggling, to which I reply that I had a dream my husband was playing Diablo 3. So my brother is all: "Oh... was he winning?"

My reply: "No.... he got killed by a treasure goblin."

They proceed to nearly die laughing, and I chuckled a bit and went back to sleep.

Anyway, tell some of your funny anesthesia dreams/stories here! I wanna see them! :D

Never had any dreams after getting anesthetics. I have woken up fairly disoriented one time when I was hospitalized for splintering my humerus bone.

I've only gone under twice with anesthesia and I never had a situation similar to yours. :/ When I woke up from the anesthesia, I was always in a terribly bitchy mood. I remember yelling at the nurse to hurry up and get me a wheelchair because I didn't feel like walking (this was after getting rid of my tonsils & adenoids).

I don't remember any dreams when I got my wisdom teeth out but I do remember asking my mom for my teddy bear when I woke up. I also vaguely remember the doctor saying there was blood on my pants and the nurse responding, "I think she's on her period..." and the doctor saying, "I see..."

That sounds painful and not funny at all... 8| How did you splinter it?

I've been under anethstesia once before this, and I never had a single dream... so it was weird to me... and yeah, my brother woke up puking. 8|

I must say, I kind of giggled at the latter part... I'm sure the doctor was feeling pretty awkward... xD

Haven't had my wisdom teeth removed, though it will probably end up coming sooner than I'd rather it happen. :'D

I've never went under, though whenever I've had my mouth numbed, some weird stuff happened. When I got back from the dentist, my mom have me an ice cold soda, annnd the metal ect all felt hot on the side of my face that was numb. And then I decided to almost spill all of the soda on me since that part of my face wasn't really cooperating. XD And I might have drooled a little bit, can't remember for certain.

I don't recall having dreams but when I woke up after having my wisdom teeth remove I was crying. I was thinking why the fuck am I crying? I had an endoscopy done a few weeks ago and when I woke up from that I felt so doped or high and said damn this shit is good and fell back asleep. I'm going in for another procedure next week and I can't wait for the anesthesia XD Though it made me feel nauseous all day the day after.

Ugh,never had dreams while being high and asleep. BUT!I hate how you get rid of the numbing med; creepy as shit and sticky and..ew I remember that I had my period and poor nurses"I'm keeping my fucking underwear and shorts dude,unless you wanna see a puddle of blood??!" and the fact that I was getting up by myself after waking up,running and jumping yelling "I'M FINE DUDE LEMME GO". I..really don't belong in an hospital,no kidding.I'm pretty sure that the whole block remember me :D /joke aside,hello I'm awkward as you may have noticed

Cannot remember any dreams but I nearly fell out of bed after a surgery. The bed was really high at that point because they used this strange system to get patients from the surgery section back to the regular stations so I am not sure how good a fall would have been for me especially right after a big abdominal surgery. I remember everyone running around in panic, trying to catch me, then I fell asleep again. X'D

My wisdom teeth were impacted, meaning they were bhind my other molars and weren't going to surface... 8( So I had to go under, else I dunno what I'd have done! XD But that's pretty funny, the numbing meds are trippy as hell because you think your face is like a balloon, but like... it isn't... Nausea after anesthesia runs in my family as well, so I usually tell the nurses and they dope me up with nausea meds... it's the shizz. <3 My brother didn't know it ran in the family though. He got really nauseous and wondered why. >-> That sounds like the most freaking hilarious thing I've ever heard. No joke. They might be ah ah.I had to ask for a bag to put my stained underwear man,it was horrible.I just wanted to pee,that's all. But yeah,you just woke up and you want to get up.When she went back to give me some ice cream (had my tonsils removed),I was standing and jumping and trying to wiggle my way to the bathroom.Everyone was laughing and I remember people saying "How can she get up and recover so fast??!" No idea - really I have no idea xD

I was actually wearing a t shirt and pj bottoms. You are right though, hospital gowns tell everyone your business.

Hmmm I'll have to ask my mom if I said anything funny, but I got laughing gas when I had to get four teeth taken out a couple of years ago. All I remember was mumbling halfway through 'okay, just two more to go' and the oral surgeon was like 'nope, you're done'

I don't know how you fall asleep while a guy's got a pair of pliers in your mouth, but I'm glad.

Pretty sure my mom once told an oral surgeon he was hot mid-procedure, while high as a kite on whatever they give you.

I think I would have been more embarrassed if I wasn't so drugged up. But since I was half unconscious, I just closed my eyes and went back to sleep. Looking back, it was pretty funny. Even though I was so out of it, I could still hear his tone like he thinking, "I'm sorry I said something."
