It doesn't matter anymore
Ask a family friend to lend you the money for the visit? Thats the best course of action, home remedies rarely end well with small animals
You really need to him them to the vet. Ask if you can set up a payment plan. Most vets realize that people are tight on money, so they will set up a payment plan. You pay say, $25 a week until it is paid off. But please don't look into home remedies without contacting a vet first.
Sometimes you can find a vet that will treat the pet for no cost, but you have to surrender the animal to them permanently and they will treat it and rehome it. It's a hard decision for people to make (I assume) because they love their pets and want to keep them, but it's the best choice to make if not doing it means they lose their life.
You can sometimes also find no-killer shelters that will do the same thing. It's a situation that unfortunately comes up a lot... people can afford care for their pets and have emergency funds set aside for them and then lose their jobs and have to use that money. Explain that to everyone you talk to and if you're lucky you'll find someone who understands that and will do what they can to help your cat.
I would call every vet in your area and ask if they offer discounts and have payment plans.
There's my mom and my aunt but they lost their job recently and are constantly telling me "we can't jut spend".
I have no idea. I work part time for minimum wage and my schedule is a crap shoot so I never really know how much a week I'll even be paid. Not to mention no one will be open on Easter weekend.
First choice- vet.
This is what I found if not a vet: (ALL require medication!!!!!!)

Hope that helps.
I've looked up the symptoms and he has all but diarrhea (he seems constipated) and increased appetite. I can't get him to eat much at all. The only reason I'm sure it's roundworms is because they were in his puke.
I've found THIS and it has good reviews but only 2 of them. There are a couple more reviews HERE too but are 4 reviews really enough? I don't want to kill him with the cure but I really shouldn't wait any longer! I've called the local PetSmart and they only have tapeworm treatment so I'll have to order the stuff and pray it gets here before Shadow kicks it.
More reviews on the Petco site have one very dissatisfied customer out of 4. 3 of which loved it.
You -need- to take your cat to a vet. Ask around to various clinics if they have a payment plan for low-income people. When I was 16, I had to take my rat to the vet and they made a copy of my state ID and let me pay it over two weeks. I'm sure that there's a lot of places that will try to help you/your cat.
It's too late. I got the drops today only to come home to find him dead in his litter box.
Thanks anyway, guys. I guess I was jsut too stupid and cheap to get him to the vet.
