Drawing on the posts on this page, I think it would be a fantastic idea to have some more expensive items in the shops. Nothing costs above seventy-five trinkets, and there is quite a surplus of them in circulation right now. Everything is going to get really worthless really fast. So, how about some 100-1000 trinket items? Weapons, wigs, whatever.

The problem I have with this is, there are so many items in the shop already that people can get. It would be yet another item to save trinkets for. Why save for one item when you can have a bunch of really nice little ones? Maybe if there were more around the 75 - 100 level, but at a certain point it goes from being a leisure activity, to being a grind.

I have problems buying the current ones. I would most likely never buy the expensive ones.

I probably won't be able to get enough trinkets for everything I want already, so I am personally not a fan of adding more expensive items. I dunno, maybe if there only a very few expensive ones.

I know one thing I didn't think of is that this is the third year of Masquarade events (I think), and thus a lot of Trinkets out there that contribute to deflation. So if prices are raised a bit, we'd just have to hope that people hadn't bought those objects previously.

I would like this. This is my third year of masquarading and I have gotten everything I needed from previous years in those years so there really isn't anything expensive for my trinkets

Nobody is forcing you to buy everything from the shop. This would just be a nice trinket sink for people with excess.

- I'm all for this. Perhaps a nice legendary/uber weapon for say...3000 trinkets? THAT would make me sit up and take notice!

I still have 2k trinkets from last year, and I gotten everything I'm interested in. I would adore a Malice type item that cost like 5k tokens or something. That would definitely get battlers interested.

I too would like to see a few (not many) fairly expensive items added. I was able to buy all the new stuff from previous year trinkets and have nothing to buy with the ones I'll be earning this year. LOL, though I suppose I'll store them away and be able to buy next years items early too :).

As mentioned previously, having maybe just a few items that are a trinket sink would be fine by me.

I on the other hand am still scrambling to buy up cheap unused trinkets to buy the items I need for this year lol ^_^

And I agree with the idea that there should be some higher priced items. It has seemed as though the items were meant to be cheaper when gaining Trinkets was much more difficult (1-3 per dance), but now that the number is higher and this id the third year, more expensive items make sense. Similarly to how the Reading Drive shop works, seeing some really nice items in a higher price range would increase participation.

I had over 1k in Steamwork Trinkets alone saved up from last year and with them was able to buy up what was released first this year the moment they came out. Higher items would fix that kind of surplus that others may have as well.
