I work at a call center and I have a certain number of calls I have to make, and then the rest of my job just involves taking calls. The company could not care less what I do between calls (except anything nsfw I guess =P). Mondays tend to be our busiest days, and then after that it's pretty hit or miss with Thursday and sometimes Wednesday being really chill.

So the point is I'm really bored! I was working on a novel when I was first hired but I finished the draft I was on and now I need a breather from working on it. NaNo is coming up but in a friggun month so that doesn't help. I don't feel like sketching and I don't have much else to do. I was going to just play all the Subetian games but anything that involves flash I can't do (work computer lacks plugin and I don't have admin permission to install it) and most games that are heavily animated (or animated at all really) cause my work computer intense lag which is not acceptable when a customer calls. I mean, they ask me to look something up or do something and I can't deal with lag then. So that's out. I was thinking about rping but...I don't have any good ideas for a rp and browsing through the forum, nothing really looks good to me, or else it's something I couldn't do (eg haven't read Percy Jackson) and plus it looks like it's slow, anyway.

So...suggestions, want to chat, help me not want to beat my head on my desk until the day is over and I can go home?

you're soooo lucky, i wish i had a chill job like that. you could always do quests couldnt you? opening lots of tabs can be pretty intense for computer sometimes though ;p

Yeah, I do have a pretty flippin' sweet job on that aspect...although it does have its downsides. Like the part where people call in pissed off that we took money out of their account when they signed up for an automatic shipment. Or worse, when someone else did without their permission. :|

Anyway I do usually complete a lot of quests, especially with my need to get monies for ALL the Alegarten wearables! Well, most of them. But I can rip through the ones I choose to do pretty dang quickly, which still leaves me the afternoon with not much to do. Also usually having fifty tabs open isn't too bad for my work computer, so long as nothing much is going on in them. The computer kind of dies all of a sudden if I do any games I mentioned but maybe that's a built-in feature to encourage productivity?
