I got them just find, but a friend has mentioned he didn't get the wig or minion for winning the fifth battle.

Haven't seen any other reports of this. Has anyone else not gotten these prizes?

Did he say what happened? Did the site do down? Did he get random loot instead?

Not much more beyond not getting the prizes for win 5. I've linked him to the thread, but I'll give him a ping too.

Ah, I can see what happened. It has to be five wins with one pet, not five wins in total. If you're worried about pets being untrained, don't be with this guy. Just get a Common Chelon Gem and a Pumpkin Wand (both really cheap) and it'll be cake. Splurge a little more and get a Rreign Staff of Lore, and you could beat him 50 times easily for the achievement.

Oh, can you see battle stats for other user's pets? I didn't know it had to be done with one pet. Does that apply to the achievement too then?

Ah, that explains it then, I used different pets, I've only now been reusing them to do the 50 battles, but I have yet to use one pet for five wins so far. Thank you so much for your help! And , thank you. Didn't know you'd make a thread, haha, but thanks for asking around. :3

If you're switching pets because they're low on health, take them to the Healer in the Sacred Lands after each battle. She's in a little dome shaped building there. It'll tell you where each spot goes if you hover over, so you can check for the right one.
