My zombie was a doctor before he got sick/died. My human was a cop before he became a soldier, focused on protecting the uninfected.

I've already got my own ideas about the whole zombie apocalypse thing so I'm pretty sure it's not going to turn into just the m/m version of the story. I do need help finding general zombie (preferably not too gory or gross) and post-apocalyptic things, because I haven't really paid much attention to such items... (Still having a hard time wrapping my mind around the whole decay thing. Generally grossed out by it, but I know I have to incorporate it, to a certain extent. I'm more interested in the psychological side of things. I genuinely like writing about characters who don't "fit in".)

Also, I'd like to see things that could relate to my two main characters former professions... Especially doctor/medical stuff since that could be tied in to the zombie epidemic, not just zombie dude's past life.

Well my pet Mr. Zombie is a fanpet of R. His TC is small though.

For others, my pet William is a zombie who wants to be a doctor. And then my pet Resurrectionist is a doctor, albeit a 19th century one. His doctor items are not in his TC at the moment, but I have them in a gallery here.

Other than my pets' TCs as references, the Zombie Den inventory is a good place to check. You can see all of them here. I scrolled through there when filling out R's TC.

I remember looking at Mr. Zombie not long after I watched the movie! I was still formulating my story at the time. I don't know how much help the TC will be, but I do think he's a nicely done fanpet. -bookmarks-

I think a combination of (more) primitive and advanced medicine could work, since resources would be limited and people/zombies would probably just do what was necessary to survive. Even if it means suturing with sewing thread and taking their chances with rusty forceps. -browses through items-
