Hello-ello! 8D

The name is Mori, short for my UN, and I'm a 23 year old anime, mythology, computer and book geek with a pretty lax social life (rather, 'lack of', whichever works best). I work full-time (night shift at a call center, whooooo shot) and, as such, do not expect me on during the day. I work, I'm up late at night...so expect late-night replies from me.

I'm looking for some one-on-one RPers, literate ones, willing to RP over sM or email. I prefer original plots and stories, but I am open to certain fandoms. And by "some", I mean...two or three, maybe only one.

As for original-plot genres, I prefer contemporary fantasy plots. Y'know, fantasy with a modern setting. Those are the ones my characters are most appropriate for, along with supernatural/paranormal and horror plots Also...if you're a Creepypasta fan, I'm totally up for a Creepypasta-themed RP 😃

I do not and will not RP high school or complete-reality anything. I prefer fantasy-based (modern-fantasy) settings. I'm RPing; why would I RP reality when I can just live it? It's pointless.

FANDOMS:

I have no plots, but we can always brainstorm. I do not RP canon characters; OC x OC only, please.

Here are the fandoms I'll RP:

Fullmetal Alchemist/FMA:B, To Aru Kagaku no Railgun (A Certain Scientific Railgun), D.Gray-Man, Witch Hunter/Witch Busters, Ao no Exorcist (Blue Exorcist), Puella Magi Madoka Magica (would LOVE to do this), Bishoujo Senshi Sailor Moon, SMT: Persona 3 (DEFINITELY), SMT: Persona 4.

Aaaand that's it for fandoms.

ORIGINAL PLOT

Now, I have a plot/idea that I've been throwing around here. I plan on using it for a book/manga series/whatever, but I really need to flesh it out through roleplay. RPing my plots always helps me better understand them, since I'm using them with someone other than myself.

Here's a summary:

So... in this world (it's based on ours, so it technically is ours...heh), demons cannot enter the physical realm without possessing a physical form, namely that of a living human or animal. And since demons, by nature, lack such forms, they need to destroy the soul attached to one in order to claim it. There are demons whose intentions are in the name of good and are unwilling to harm anyone, but they are very, very rare. The only way to possess a body is through that person or creature's dreams. The Collective Unconscious (or the Shared Subconscious) is the chain that links our world to the realm that the monsters and spirits reside in (it could be thought of as 'Hell' or the Underworld), and it can be accessed only by demons, spirits, the human mind, and Dream Eaters (Baku). When a demon enters a human's dream, they twist the dream into a nightmare, driving the person insane until the soul becomes so weak that it eventually dissolves. Then the demon can claim the body for its own. This is where the Baku come in, they're the exorcists of this world, pretty much. They can live in our world since they take the form of humans and can enter the dream world at any time. They can manipulate dreams and, in the dream world, create anything imaginable. But most importantly, they can fight. In order to get a demon to relinquish its hold on a human soul, they need to battle it until its weak enough, then they absorb (eat) both it and the nightmare. Baku can only eat dreams, so this is their only form of sustenance.

About the Baku, some of them were created through artificial means (think like the Homunculi from Fullmetal Alchemist) while others were once mortals/humans. The artificial Baku are the ones that don't really last long. The more demons and nightmares they consume, the more likely they'll succumb to madness and become demons themselves. The ones that were once human, however, are, compared to the others, superior as they live longer and are capable of defeating the insanity that nearly beat them over and over. Their Creator has since ceased making them artificially. There are only a small handful of the sane Artificial Baku remaining, their survival a mystery. They're ostracized by the other Baku, viewed only as a "risk". Regarding the demons, they can be good, evil, anti-hero, whatever. I've really only thoroughly thought-out the Baku, the demons can be whatever. Maybe they're the human's inner madness (The Russian Sleep Experiment) or something that was already part of the psyche. Either way, their role is to either destroy humans, become destroyed by the Baku, ally the Baku and humans, or sit on the fence and pretty much do nothing. In this plot, one of the Baku has become a demon...but he's already quite powerful. Destroying him won't be an easy task, and he's got something else planned than merely possessing a human.

If you have any questions regarding this, let me know. I would love to RP it! I can also use this for a Subeta pet-themed plot, as my pets are characters for this story. I only RP my pets as human anthros, sometimes with animal features, most of the time not.

Aaaand that's it? Ah! But wait - there's more! ...RULES!

  1. No chat speak. Absolutely none o.e It's a pain in the ass to read.

  2. Keep it PG-13, please. Profanity is fine, violence is fine, but nothing overboard, mmkay?

  3. Romance is a definite okay! I always enjoy a bit of it in my RPs. But nothing like 'love at first sight'. Because that doesn't happen. And no slash, mxm, fxf... I have nothing against them, I'm just not comfortable RPing them.

  4. Semi-literacy is a must! At least one or two paragraphs. No one-liners, please, and use proper grammar. I can understand a few mistakes; I've made a few in the post, probably. Please, don't make your replies a pain to read.

  5. I have a life outside the Internets, y'know. A job and video games and all that jazz, so don't expect me the always reply within a day or an hour, but for the most part, it's within my power. And on the occasion that this does happen, I don't mind if reminders are sent to me, since I can be pretty forgetful and think I replied to a message when I...didn't xD

  6. I'll RP over sM and e-mail, but to be fair, I much prefer e-mail. I am willing to comply, of course.

  7. I like to chat during my RPs. Y'know, OOC and all that. I like to goof off, talk, get to know who I'm RPing with... I also like to treat the role-play (as much as I love it, as serious as they usually are) as my own Mystery Science Theater 3000/Cinematic Titanic/Rifftrax, usually taking jabs at my own characters. If you are not the type of person who enjoys such conversations, then leave. Now.

  8. If you've read the rules...um, if you've read them...tell me what your favorite video game is! Mine's, of course, SMT: Persona 3.

Is that it for the rules? I think that's it!

I'll give character profiles to those who ask for them! 8D Thanks for stopping by!
