Under "Description and Inspiration," it says "Please format specific characters as [character name] from [fandom]." What does this mean?

Edit: I'm also trying to use the hair salon to get the hair color right, and it shows up correctly on my HA in my dashboard, but when I go to submit my entry (and here on the forums), it is back to it's original color. How do I fix this?

Best explained by examples I think: Spock from Star Trek. My character from WOW. Morrigan from Dragon Age video game. Superman from Comics Superman from Man of Steel (2013)

If that's the character you're entering you probably want something like: Daryl Dixon from the Walking Dead TV series or Daryl Dixon from the Walking Dead comics (I'm not familiar with the comics so I don't know if the characters are the same or not)

Hair - wait 10 minutes, clear your cache, then do a forced reload (usually ctrl F5)

- It depends on your browser, but generally look for something like preferences or options (possibly under some menu like file, edit or tools), then cache. Once you get it open, there should be a button or link or some instruction on how to clear it. You can go to Google and type your browser and "how to clear cache" for specific instructions.

IF its showing up correctly on your dashboard, then everything should have worked like its supposed to. If it was a hair salon problem, then it wouldn't show correctly on your dash either. Wait a few more minutes, then try clearing your cache again. If that doesn't work, then I recommend filing a ticket that explains the steps you took, because you really don't want to enter the wrong HA for the contest.

Well, it's not showing correctly on my Dashboard any more. But I'll give it another try in a few minutes.

- If its not correct on the dashboard, then you can go to the hair salon and click on the "back to normal please" and restart from scratch. It may have stored something from a previous use of the hair salon, and that could be why its not showing the new hair.
