Hmm. Yeah, I doubt I would've died if I had to wait 15 more minutes, but this is a ridiculous story I'm dying to share with somebody.
Okay. So. Yesterday, at school, we had a messed up schedule because Thursday was a snow day, therefore they felt the absolute need to mes up Friday's schedule due to this. So instead of having it go 1234567, it went 7 (for 3 fucking hours), 4 (for an hour and a half due to lunches), 12356.
So here's the thing. My 6th period, art teacher is a freak about people being too loud. This means, practically every day I'm late to 7th period because he feels the need to wait until the whole classroom is silent, and THEN give us a lecture about listening to the teacher. So yesterday, instead of getting out at 3:00, we got out at 3:05 which by the time I went to my locker and ran to the bus loading zone, it was long gone.
So I did what I do everytime I miss my bus. I go see my friend Tabitha, and catch her bus which is always 5-10 minutes late. So that's what I did! We got to her house, she grabbed her phone, we went on the back porch while she called her mom to let her know she got home, and we were about to leave to my house. I was still outside, she hung up the phone, and came back out on the porch.
My stupid ass, not knowing, said "Hey, why didn't you close the door all the way?" and then closed the door. Apparently, her door locks automatically and when I closed it, it locked automatically. Of course D<
Long story short, she lives on the second story of her formerly hotel apartment complex, and although she lives in the closest apartment to the front door, nobody gave us the time of day when we yelled HELP WE'RE LOCKED OUT HERE AND ITS GONNA SNOW SOON AND WE CANT GET DOWN AND WEVE BEEN OUT HERE FOR 2 HOURS NOW AND ITS 19 DEGREES OUTSIDE AND HEY... DONT WALK AWAY... DOUCHEBAG!!!
I still don't get why people will continue to just walk by when there's two girls outside yelling help and wearing extremely thin jackets. D:
Lucky for us, two guys were nice enough to listen, and go run and knock on one of the maintenance lady's front doors, and she came and unlocked us from the cold outside with nothing but a backpack full of TOYS.
And nothing but 15 minutes until her mom got home at 6. We were out there since 3:30.
THIS IS THE EXACT REASON WHY I HATE SNOW!!!
/rant/"funny story" over.
[flower=violette]
I hate snow for the fact that it took me and my sister an hour to shovel our cars out of the driveway. With shoves. For the fact that my mom doesnt have the snow blower that my father built when we ordered it. But after a while our little asian next door neighbor came up and hes like i help? I help with snow blower? Yes? And when my sister said he didnt need to he did it anyway because we where not even done after like an hour with the whole entire driveway
Snow is the devil D: We have had so many cancellations that we are either only going to have a month and a half of summer (and that is as of right now, not including the snow storms we are getting next week) or have to go to school on Saturdays ;-; 6 day weeks will be horrible D:
but that was really rude of the people to just walk by o.o
