....And as if fitting for the mood, it's been rainy and cloudy all day. She was the sweetest little thing ever...always loving, always happy. She's currently in a little box wrapped up in her favourite blankie, ready to be buried.

I love guinea pigs. I've had three. Cupcake, Toffee, and Carrot. I had them in pre-school/grade school, so they're long dead now. But their graves are still marked in our yard.

I want to have guinea pigs again. They make the cutest noises. D;

Edit; Oh shoot. I forgot one pig. My mom adopted an older guinea pig named Binky a few years ago. We had him for two years, I think, before he died.

The last noise my guinea pig made was that little happy coo. I just hope the piggy we have left can live a full life alone.

I remember when my sister's guinea pig passes away.. it was only about a month after we had gotten two of them, and I woke up really early to play with them but when I went into the den where they were, her guinea pig was curled up in an uncomfortable looking ball..

I thought it was just sleeping so I went to poke it awake because it LOOKED REALLY UNCOMFORTABLE.. but it was hard as a rock and I then noticed its eyes we stuck open and there was an ant crawling onto one of them..

It was horrible.. and I was so shocked by the whole thing that I crawled back under the covers until my mom found the guinea pig a few hours later..

I don't know why I couldn't bring myself to tell anyone O___X

I'm sorry about your loss.. it's hard to lose a pet.

My guinea pig ended up having SIX tiny little piggies. :-) and when you moved them away from their mom they all went off like little alarms.

I'm glad yours at least was happy before she died. The other one should be fine. They usually adapt quickly to new situations.

I don't think any of ours had issues when a cage mate died.

Oh, god. I've lost 3 of my piggies in the last 3 years. Losing a pig is the worst feeling ever. But, at least they're not suffering anymore?

Oh no. The week of dead celebrities is over, but now, it's the week of dead pets? ;~; Bad comic relief, sorry. Lots of pets have been dying lately.
