My sister's birthday was April 10. I couldn't afford to get her anything with cash, and I've been too busy with my sick cat to do much until now. Fortunately, she loves pet art, so that's where you come in!

PLEASE POST EXAMPLES AND PRICES. I'm not very active in the art market on Subeta, so I WILL NOT offer first - I don't know anything about prices here! A time estimate would also be amazing, even if it's rough.

She prefers realistic art, so I'm not looking for very anything too stylized. Sketch, lined, colored - any of those are fine.

This is Rogue, nicknamed "Princess." She's brown tabby and white with medium/long fur and greenish-yellow eyes. She's REALLY sweet, and REALLY silky. Rogue and Enyah just celebrated their 10th birthday last month. If you can include the two of them together, please let me know! These two were never separated until they were 8 years old, which is when my husband and I bought our own house and took Enyah with us. Enyah's album is right here.

I'm probably only going to buy one piece. I don't mind buying multiple pieces. If I reject you, please don't take it personally! It doesn't mean I dislike your art, it just means that I'm looking for something a bit different for this.

I hope it's okay if I ping again. I'm not sure of the rules for this ping group, but I wanted to let you all know that I've added some references for Enyah, and I'd like to get at least one more piece. I don't really have a set budget, so let me know what you have to offer, please. Including Enyah in the art is NOT necessary, though it would be nice. Also, some stylization is alright.

Oh gosh, I have had a thing for cats lately ;3; I would love to draw maybe something quick-er than my usual stuff.. I'd like to do a digitally lined version & I don't mind if you, or other artists colour it in later :) here are some of my examples: tigers bunnies & a wizard/bear & my current work in progress with an actual kitty

She's a little scruffy at the moment because she's just getting over being sick. But, I've got a compilation here, some new, some old. Her stripes are mostly only noticeable on her face and tail.

I've been stalking this since you posted it...but I'm unsure if I can get this done in a timely manner. I also haven't been charging for commissions, making them freebies, in the past months because I've had a tendency to be inconsistent with artistic style (How I draw/color things)...and I never know how far I'll be able to get with a piece before college eats me! ^^;; So what I'm trying to say is. I'm going to draw you a freebie of your two kitties if I can manage it and if you feel inclined to give me something after you can but I won't expect it for the above reasons, 'cause it's a freebie by my standards. Hopefully it'll be good birthday art or worthy of it. And if you're wondering why I'd do this. Well...I just really like drawing cats. I realized I don't have any recent examples on my DA of cat's that aren't in a particular style (ones I'd probably not do for your piece cause I'd like to do your kitties justice. c: ) but believe me 1/3 of my computers archived drawings are of cats. >>;;... And when I do random freebies it's usually fluffy cute animals. c:

No problem. :3 I worked on the lineart a bit earlier but I had to visit friends for quite a few hours so I'll probably work on it some more now. I'll keep you posted.

EDIT: Sorry this is so late for your sister's birthday. Hopefully she still likes it. X3 It's no masterpiece but I tried not to shove too much style into it, and I'm not much of a realism artist. I hope your kitty feels better too! Being sick isn't fun at all, and I end up being just about sick with worry every time my kitties aren't feeling too well either. Click~! Thank you very much! ❤ And I told her on her birthday that it might be a couple weeks before she got her gift(s), so no need to apologize. :) I love this pose, too - they bathed each other a lot whenever they were together. And she is feeling better, thank you! :) I think she's back to 100% now. She's eating and drinking normally now, and she's active and alert. The last step is just to get her to start eating the regular food again, since we had to switch to a special food just so she'd eat at all. Sending a couple things your way as a thank you. :)

I'm glad to hear you like it and thank you very much for the items. <3 I kind of guessed they were the pair of cats that spent a lot of time snuggled up beside each other based off the reference photos. X3 It's good to hear you're kitty is feeling better! Hopefully her appetite will switch to the new cat food easily. One of my two kitties is a butt when it comes to food and he picks out kernels of it as though there's a difference. ^^;; Then leaves stuff to get stale. Oh, the joys of finicky cats, but you can't help but love them! c: Good luck finding more art as well if you're still looking.

Since you pinged a second time in your edit, I thought it should have gone through, so I'm not sure what happened. They did, and it was such a painful decision to either leave her there with her sister, or take her with me. In the end, I decided I wanted her to have more space, and I couldn't bear the thought of seeing her so rarely. I live an hour away from my sister now, and we can't get out there very often.

She's normally not very picky, just when she's sick. But, if she doesn't like the old food anymore, my sister can probably recommend a different one for her. :) And my childhood dog did the same thing! In his last couple years, he was eating a food with varying sizes of kibble. The smaller pieces were supposed to be the healthiest, but he spat those out and just ate the bigger ones. :P
