I'm just looking at all the OC's.....and I enjoy reading people's characters.... but does anyone ever base their OC's on the pet species/original shape anymore? (All I see nowadays are humanized characters)

I might be checking out roleplaying in the future, and I have characters...but they are the pet species and set in the subeta world, which seems to be a very small minority of OC's out there.

Thoughts? edit or maybe I'm off my rocker and RP'ing doesn't even veer down that direction anymore. I'm simply curious.
