I just fed like forty oofas to my pets. Didn't these use to give you sP and stuff too? Furthermore, how rare are the bugs you're supposed to find for the achievement?

I don't think they ever gave sP when being fed or otherwise...but the achievement is random. Some people need 10, others need 300. Totally random. I wish you luck :P

Besides the achievement there's a slim chance of finding worms or something that can turn to butterflies.

I had to eat around 200 of them in order to get something interesting. The minions that turn into butterflies do so via a device called a Time Machine. I've been curious if anyone who has these minions attached has noticed anything from going through the Coda Caves. Maybe they turn back.

no, ir's not a joke. You get various worms and bugs from eating an Oofa, and if you apply a Time Machine to them they turn into moths and butterflies. Each critter turns into its own kind of adult critter. 'm not sure if there's a dragonfly variant or not, but moths and butterflies, definitely. The Time Machine was either a DP or a Crystal Shop item and it gets used up/breaks when you use it, so they're expensive, but they do exist.

I've been playing Subeta for a long time, and this was old even when I was new, so it may not be very common knowledge. Yep, that's whey they're so expensive. The reason many of them are still on the site and still purchaseable is because they show up in the Safety First Inc. minion feeding in the Galaxan Wastelands.

I've been getting those Achievements and I think I've been getting one minion for every hundred that I feed, so it can't be many that get trickled in that way.
