Okay, so I just got online, and I haven't been on since I think like... thursday? I haven't really been interested in the event, but I do admit, I gave it a little try, and all I did was collect candy hearts and I got the journal from skitter. Then I kind of got bored, and had family visit over the weekend and I wasn't able to get on until today.

I went to look at my HA and now I'm suddenly a zombie? I'm really confused. I checked and I didn't have any events about being kissed or anything. I'm really confused, can someone please explain this to me, and tell me how to make my HA normal again? xD I never wanted to be a zombie...

It's a plot-driven disease right now, so you can participate in the plot. There is no known cure, but there will be eventually.
