It will be given out next year as well, so long as you complete the task for it (visiting Melody's Cottage every day in December).

It is also in the Cash Shop for 1,500 CSC but if you wait until December it will be free as long as you remember. ^_^

It's sold in user shops too...I found it for 16,900,000 sP. It wouldn't take that long to save up that much sP. ;)

True but I should probably wait because if they give it out in December, I'm pretty sure that price will drop and I would have spent more than I needed.

I wasn't aware that they'll be giving the melody essence each year since the achievement was specifically for 2011. It would definitely save me the trouble of buying one. :D
