Haaah, I have the same problem with my pet with a kanji as name. XD' Best of luck adopting her out! ^_^

@ Ilvias Just a heads up, the pet name character is actually "Lu", if you intend to use its Mandarin Chinese pronunciation. I could guess the character for the "Xia" you meant, and it indeed looks very similar to "Lu", but still a different character (Because of the foreign language rule, I can't post the character for Xia. But if anyone is curious, just shoot me a sMail). :)

[edit] After seeing your reply, I'm glad you got the right character for the meaning dew. When I saw the pinyin Xia, I thought you meant the character meaning dawn. I guess your friend just mixed up the pinyin of these two then :P

Actually you can see her "right" name in many pages and it's not a problem for the profile since you can edit it as you wish XD It's just I have no story at all for her and I have many other projects in mind :/ Thank you for the wishes! As for the chinese character, if you copy past it in a translator it does show up "dew" as translation. ^^

Edit: About the staff changing pets with chinese symbols as names: you get a message that shows up under 'events' that you should rename your pet (it's free). When I got the message I was so angry that I chose to ignore it (also because I felt it was wrong to change the last remains of what was once possible). As of yet I haven't heared anything since then. shrugs I hope it stays that way. =/

In that case, I'm really interested, I've wanted a kanji name for ages.

I don't know what you'd like in the way of an app, but these pets of mine are good examples of what I do with my pets: Hikari, Luthe, Balthier. Feel free to take a look though, most of them have something on their profile.

Is her name broken or something (heard that happened with a lot of special character name Pets some time ago so that's why I'm asking.)?

When I looked at her profile I didn't see the kanji but just some strange letter/number mix. :C

Yay! I do! I might not get to her right away since I'm working on a specific group of pets right now for menagerie's pet sprint but she'll be awesome eventually! It'd probably be easiest to friend me. :3
