I just got a new kitten but haven't thought up a good name for her. I kind of like Chloe but am open to other ideas.

Please no cliche or corny names like Muffin, Fluffy, Miss Fluffykins, etc.

She also has this weird pattern on her back that look like a bird or butterfly with a long tail.

Magpie may be cute as that pattern makes me think immediately to that bird. Maggie, maybe, too. Missie or Misty would also be cute along with Ginger, Amber, Honey, Tabi (short for Tabitha), Kaylee and Mika (pronounced meekah)

Lizzy, Leona, Mishka, Senta, Laika... I'm not so good with names :(

I second 'Maggie' for Magpie, as I see someone else already thought of :) That's adorable.

For no particular reason 'Harper' sounds pretty cute to me too

I do kind of like Ginger. My aunt suggested Caramel but that sounds a bit more male to me.

Isn't there a type of candy that is like caramel with milk in it?? I keep trying to remember it but can't think of it.

I can't remember if it's an actual candy or a sauce or what. But I think it's like caramel or at least sugar mixed with milk or cream.

The pattern made me think of a microraptor - like [this]. Not that I can think of any suitable names related to that....

As for your caramel thing, could it be dulce de leche, butterscotch, toffee, fudge or flan? On that note, I think Flan would be a nice name haha. Or Marmalade :P

It might be the dulce leche thing. I remember it sounding Spanish or italian.

That's what I named my other cat Dreamer. I mis-gendered him when he was little and named him Dreamcicle. When he got older and I realized he was a boy I shortened it to Dreamer lol.
